It's not about the number of boxes he can hold is about the number of items on stage, you can only do the invisible item glitch combined with the snake box, as they count as items.

heres a funny thing to do with kirby against bowsers final smash. Bowser can't be launched when he uses his smash, and doesn't even move if hit, but still takes damage. Use kirby's down B continuous smash glitch (which also works on custom stage slopes) and if bowser touches kirby in the down b smash loop thing he'll take immmense damage.
