Unfortunately, when your trying to penetrate the unforgiving US market, you have to compare them with other US artists. And how do they compare? Just like BoA couldn't compare. Just like BoA, they won't be recognized. They'll just end as "some cute asian girls who performed a cute song" in people's minds. I guess JYP didn't consider that. We koreans love them but WG's music and style just does not appeal to the Americans. If you don't like what I say, just wait a year and see how it turns out.

@Juilkca But there have been reports that because of the internet Kpop is growing in the world, including the US. It's being dubbed the "Asian invasion" for the latter 2011 and next year. Many Asian/Korean artists will try to debut here (in the US) and parts of Europe. Personally I'm just getting into Kpop and I love it (love B.E.G BoA and Big Bang). I think with hot singles and releasing EPs most Asian artists can leave an impact here and Europe, tour clubs/theatres and build a small fanbase.

If they had made a comeback after Nobody it would have most definitely been considered a flop, even if it was a good song. That's the main reason JYP chose to come over after Nobody because he knew they were at the very top and they couldn't go anywhere but down, so coming to the US was an alternative that he took
