  • Im getting a new dalmatian puppy in Late April/ Early may so i have been watching vids like this like crazy!! Thanks for the info (:

  • Nixon is now 7 months and very dominating on other dogs. any idea why?

He's great but wondering why he wants to be so dominant?

  • @girlieplb

Same is mine, he wants to jump up on everything and everyone.

I guess some are born as "leaders" among dalmatians.

  • I must have had bizaare dalmatians. I've had three of them now and I wish they were MORE energetic!

  • ok so would it be insanely hard to train a 3 yr old dal? I just got her last week and she is very raw and actuaclly not even ur stereotypical hyper dalmatian...

  • @crazybandchick90

I think it is perfectly doable, will just have to be a little more patient i have trained a 4year old bitch and have just started with my second, a 5year old male takes a lot of time but the results are very rewarding just dont forget how smart they are, dont let them walk all over you!

  • It is spelled right - check yourself. 90% of the world spells it wrong.

  • well...spelling the breed's name correctly would be a good start....

  • So, I'm getting a female dalmatian this month and I'm going to be bringing her into obedience classes for the first time... I think you should make a few videos on what procedures the classes go through and what types of obedience classes there are. Oh yes, and about the dalmatian; they are also prone to sulking. Do I comfort the dog or do I allow her to sit it out and calm down?
