eh can anyone explain to me how the hell to increase the I.D.E Gauge in this game asap. tyvm!

It's a bit of a misconception but Ideon isnt ALL that difficult to get to full power. What I usually do, if i know the fight ahead will have plenty of mooks is send Ideon into them with iron wall while I get my guys buffed with Sound Force. Usually, they'll all gang up on him and you can get the Ideon gauge up to lvl 4 in one turn. After that, get it weakened enough with map attacks to 60%(regular uber-weapons) or 30%(map version).

It's rather easy and very useful once you get the hang of it.

The ideon is powerful,but it to bad that it's such a pain to get the best attack.Raise the ideon power to the max and have less than 30 % of hp before you can use the gun or sword.I usually end the mission before that happnes and ideon is crap without it's most powerful attack.

My main tactic for using Ideon is to send him headlong and deep inside enemy lines, without moving anyone else too far forward (or rather, not moving them forward at all). With luck, every enemy should be aiming at it, and I can get the gauge to maximum within 2-3 turns. Every enemy attack should be tanked.

To use the Ideon effectively, you really have to give it special attention. Otherwise it's just supplemental firepower.

Aw man! I want to know what they are saying. I'm curious on what other characters from other mecha anime's have to say about the Ideon's power especially the ones from Evangelion. I'm sure they are use to apocalyptic threats.

Regardless, you can tell they're scared of it by this cutscene. GO IDEON GO!!!

It depends. Ideon gives full power only when it is in very dangerous situation. So I prefer GaoGaiGar and Gunbuster.

no! The only SRW released in the US were OG 1 + 2 for gameboy advance. But this is a ps2 game that was successful in Japan...oh well. Super robot wars 3 for super famicom/snes has been translated and SRW alpha gaiden for psx will be translated very soon. But i wanted to use Ideon :(.
