  • Jump blues is an underrated American genre which is too bad because this is first rate hard hitting music. Another excellent example of this genre is the Roy Brown song, "Cadillac Baby". These songs compare favourably to the very best rock and roll songs of the 1950's and, in fact, this style was used by the first rock musicians. That said, rock music has degenerated since the 50's and modern rock today cannot compare to this type of music or most of the first rock songs.
