This is just one of those never again moments. They sounded so great together. Having a perfect singing voice doesn't necessarily make you a better singer or performer. When the songs are written good that counts for alot. Just because Bono doesn't sound like he used to doesn't mean he doesn't sound good now. Cbano, do yourself a favor and play any 1992 and onward U2 record to someone that knows music and they'll tell you that this guy can't sing much anymore. Bono confirmed himself in their new book (out in UK at the moment) that he is having some serious problems but he working hard at it. Like I said, I've seen them live in concert a few times now and he is noticeably bad these days. Even Edge is a better singer. Don't be so blinded by their greatness that you can't see their glaring faults.

Only a fool would deny that Bono weren't great in the 80's, but these days his voice is shot. I went to the U2 concerts in Dublin and London a few months ago and although a brilliant show, his singing was sub standard. Something happened to his voice after the Love Town tour of 89-90 and he just never sounded the same again.
