Wonderful "historic" film. There are more out there like this, that should be archived for future generations...to show how it was without all the "bells and whistles" of today. Keep 'em coming.

In 1958 the firehouse at S. Carrollton and S. Claiborne held Engine 19, Engine 25, Truck 7 and the Chief of the 6th District (306).

You are right, but remember they only went to fires back then. Also, they delayed replacements because of the great depression and World War II.
