The same thing happened to me when I was unemployed, this is all normal, I was wasting time it took me about two months before I got a random job, then I got my current job a year ago, which matches my educational skills.

I know what you mean. I quit my old job in October of last year. It was a foolish decision, as it was just as the global financial crisis was starting. For the next six months, I was unemployed. I had nothing to do. My money was dwindling away, time had no meaning. I was going to bed at 2am every night and sleeping until noon (or later). Thankfully, I now have another job and my life has meaning again! LOL

On another note, when u loose ur daily routine that a job gives u, you actually start to live life (well, after u get over the self pity, anger, jealousness of employed people,etc ...!), it gives u the time to do things u never really had before, so much so, it kinda makes you wonder how you had time for a full time job!! it is actually normal for you to get less down without a job. i've had that happen to me and know others who experience the same thing. it's probably the lack of structure and accountability. you can't get fired from life.

When they are sleeping so soundly in one room and then for NO reason, jump up, run to the other side of the house, meow at the top of their lungs and then go back to sleep. I am one of three kids, me being the youngest. My brothers are 26 and 24, I'm 18. None of us ever felt neglected or left out of anything. I think it really comes down to parenting skills and being able to show all of your kids that you love them. I think you'll be a great Mom some day, Mama Beav. ;)

I think the wisdom with kids is the communist ethos - From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. Not the way to run a society of course, but in a household it teaches responsibility and makes sure all members find the family a worthwhile enterprise.
I always had more energy when I was employed-in all aspects of life!lol, loved the cat interlude.When it comes to the kids-I dunno, if they're not triplets or anything(my 3 r each about 5 years apart), u tend 2 spend more time on the youngest as the eldest gets more independent. . . but they could probably do with just as much time in other ways to be honest. I dunno! I love all my kids, but some are more demanding than others and unfortunately and unfairly that tends to mean they get more time!

Watching cats play together is about as much fun as watching chickens in the farm yard - that is - a lot of fun. I don't have kids but I do have three dogs and it is hard to make sure they all get somewhat equal love/attention/special time.

I'd like to blame you for me choking on an ice cube (though really it was my own fault). Anyways, I'm the youngest of 4 anddd obviously I don't see it as me getting more attention these days because I'm the only 1 that lives at home but I'm sure if you asked any of my siblings they would say that I got all the attention when we were younger. also my sister has 4 kids andd I can guarentee the 2 younger get much more attention than the 2 older. so yeah, neglect is always going to happen. :(

but i come from a family of 3. and my mom tends to spend more time on me and my brother. my younger brother like...gets barely any attention. its actually really sad. so i try to spend as much time with him as i can.
but thats just me i dont know if my mom feels the same way as i do about that particular situation.

I know what you mean about the unemployed time warp. I lost April to it. Like *poof* the entire month just vanished. And yes, living with cats is like living with little aliens. Though at least yours don't seem to regard you as a walking scratching post! :)

I am one of three kids, me being the youngest. My brothers are 26 and 24, I'm 18. None of us ever felt neglected or left out of anything. I think it really comes down to parenting skills and being able to show all of your kids that you love them. I think you'll be a great Mom some day, Mama Beav. ;)

I think the wisdom with kids is the communist ethos - From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. Not the way to run a society of course, but in a household it teaches responsibility and makes sure all members find the family a worthwhile enterprise.

I always had more energy when I was employed-in all aspects of life!lol, loved the cat interlude.When it comes to the kids-I dunno, if they're not triplets or anything(my 3 r each about 5 years apart), u tend 2 spend more time on the youngest as the eldest gets more independent. . . but they could probably do with just as much time in other ways to be honest. I dunno! I love all my kids, but some are more demanding than others and unfortunately and unfairly that tends to mean they get more time!

hahahaha I believe 3 is a sound choice, good decision! Another way to think about it is the holy trinity is , well, 3! If you haven't seen it yet, there is a TEDTalks video on youtube here about 'the power of six degrees' (of kevin bacon). It's true! so, with 3 kids, you've basically got half the power of networking right there! you could rule the world(half)! haha

Watching cats play together is about as much fun as watching chickens in the farm yard - that is - a lot of fun. I don't have kids but I do have three dogs and it is hard to make sure they all get somewhat equal love/attention/special time.
