  • I can only tell you that the 3rd tune from the last is "My Land" 4/4 March...It's been awhile, so that's all I can come up with! God! they're great!

  • very cool video! I've always been interested in the Gordon Highlanders Regiment and their battlefield exploits

  • at 5:39 the pub in the background "the grill" is still there and has the same sign above the door, the inside most likly hasn't changed either except i think they were forced to install a femal toilet

  • The opening pipe tune is a 2/4 march entitled "The Hills of Perth".

  • The same my great grandfather was probably on here somewhere..he served in the Boar War with the 1st Regiment and WW1 with the 2nd. Great footage

  • anything else like this? whatever happened to all those filims shown on 'the way it was' (d'yi mine in that?). sadly YouTube's lacking aal filims o' Aiberdeen & the North East.
