Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I think I will try your idea but instead of using pop rivits I will stick some magnets in between the piece and the material to raise them up. Thanks again for being kind enough to share.
@airbrushe Hi Airbrushe - thanks for the comment. Yes, I have since started using magnets between the template and workpiece and it works really well.
