Macs and Apple are a huge rip off Apple's items break so god damn easily unlike Windows and other stuff they're mouses have wires that are harder for to rip apart.
wow that was disapointing. windows is crap and mac s amazing. wats the point of putting the owrst type of computer on the best most amazing one???? wow
Please read my other comments... That Windows is just a small installation for gaming! Nothing more! Anyway, imho it's much more fascinating that it actually works and is a help for people who want to combine all games/Win only apps and the best OS ever. I'm not using it often, it is just a demonstration on how that works! That's the point, full stop.

dude...y do u have windows on a mac? doesn't it defeat the purpose of having a mac if u have windows on it as well? the only reason for windows on a mac would be if u want to run windows programs that don't work on the mac OS.
I must say, 1GB RAM isn't that good for a Mac, mine is a 17 " Widescreen Gateway, and it has 2GB RAM, I don't know the exact size of this Mac but even for a small one, that not alot
At the time I ordered it, 1 GB was standard. I didn't want to order it with more RAM because Apple's upgrades are pretty expensive. Maybe I'll upgrade it by myself later. But I also have to say that I've never had any RAM problems on my MacBook.
Cause I can't run OS X on a PC. Well, I could, but it's not the same. I need Mac OS, but I also need Windows. Why should I use two machines for that if I can do it on one?
Apple's BootCamp didn't defeat a Mac's purpose. BootCamp was developed so that people who have Mac OS X might also need Windows. There is no point in buying a PC if current Macs now have an Intel processor. Becides, I might be getting a MacBook for Christmas and I also need Windows for some of the programs that can't be run on a Mac nomally.
I have a theory, I might be wrong, but running windows on your mac would be like going to a nice restaurant with a big mac or sad meal, or even a burger from burger queer or whatever the name is, the point is that if you don't play games it's better to enjoy your mac, I have mac and also run ubuntu but 99% of the time I use everything mac! Oh and I'm jealous too!!
You're completely right. Yeah, I only installed the shit to run progs not being available for OS X (like special games). Most time I'm using Leopard and I love it!
Same with me. I have The Sims 2 (PC version) and Star Trek: Bridge Commander. I can't run them under Mac OS X. If I have Windows installed on a MacBook via BootCamp, I can still run those same games.
I am so jealous! First, where did you get counter strike? I used my version on my imac running in Windows over VMware fusion, and it doesn't work! Please help!
CS requires OpenGL or D3D, I think VMware is not able to handle this. I'm using Windows native via BootCamp because my MacBook's got an Intel processor. If your iMac is Intel, too, get BootCamp. It's included in Leopard for free.
No, Bootcamp is a tool which advances the MacBook's EFI, so it can emulate a BIOS and Windows runs native. Only the BIOS is emulated, therefore booting is so slow.

Yes, that's the reason. It's just a small installation which I only use for gaming sessions.

That makes logical sense. You could have Windows XP or Vista on a MacBook without buying anoter laptop. It's cheaper that way.

Isn't Bootcamp a emulator device running Windows so Windows really is being controlled by a program and has no feelings whatsoever?
