Yes he fails to realize that even though acuras or civics have a 9k redline, they only have about 3-4k rpms of usable powerband because from 6k down they might as well be a geo metro, where as a V8 pulls from idle to redline.

Usually I prefer Chevy's, but damn Ford makes a FINE Mustang. For upgrades it depends, you can stick N/A, go S/C, or go T/C. With N/A you can get up to 375HP, with S/C you can get up 600HP, with T/C you can get over 1,000HP. A first upgrade everyone should do is get a CAI (Cold Air Induction), a downpipe, a CAT back exhaust, and some ER Rockers, you should go from 300HP to 330-340HP with those upgrades.

Yeah good point you can see the temp gage, always warm up the engine to full temp before doing anything aggressive, i have the same 06 GT and let it warm up for 3-4 mins before driving off.

i wait about a minute, that's all you need, and dont drive agressively untill the temp is high, the car will warm up faster while driving...now in the winter time when it's freezing cold, yes you need the 4 minutes

roush makes some great stuff. Looked like a roush scoop on the hood. I went with that as well and with some window louvers for the rear. Stripes can look good depending on the color. I have a torch red so I went with gun metal two stripes from trunk lid to the front of the hood. engine cold air intake plus cpu remap and you will get another 50 hp out of her. cheers!

spark plugs do not heat up before the engine starts. your thinking of glow plugs which are used in diesel engines. you have no idea what you are talking about anyway. even at low temperature there is still oil in the engine running through the head. the reason you don't rev a car cold, is because the engine is made out of different metals which expand and contract at different temperatures.
