  • thought one of yous would have been on the tenor ;D x

  • Excellent Stedman bells! lol

  • @8spliced ,

yes except for the fact that all peals rung here are always Stedman,,,

  • @LauraBellringer I can see why! It must sound gorgeous, especially with a crack band! What's wrong with Stedman anyway? It's far better than than cursed Grandsire rubbish! XD

  • @8spliced What's wrong with Grandsire? You won't find more coursing music at an odd stage.

  • @Gophobos I don't like Grandsire. All it is is Plain Bob with a bong behind, and yes, occasionally has music, but it usually doesn't I find, and I ring far too much of it, especially Doubles, to appreciate it. Even Plain Bob Doubles/Triples is better! :-P

  • @8spliced I don't think anyone could claim to find much music in any doubles method. That's not really the point of doubles.

  • @Gophobos There isn't much in Grandsire Triples and Caters either. Caters isn't actually that bad, Cinques can be nice, but Triples is rubbish and Doubles is pointless lol

  • @8spliced That's because the longest length you ever ring is a short touch. Invest some time in ringing a touch which is constrained with getting back to rounds in 5 minutes before making judgement.

  • @Gophobos I have rung quarter peals of Grandsire, on different numbers. I think I can judge on that!

  • @8spliced That's because you can't ting it obviously

  • @LauraBellringer mmmmm Stedman!!

  • Mmmm very good Stedman bells!
