Thanks! I'm just learning how to program for circuit boards, so I'm a beginner. I have an assignment to use morse code, and it's great for me as an example. I'll try to make it slower as suggested.
@GetzuCero longer flash in "-" otherwise..shorter for the other one...for spaces between letters...i don't know...may be...a longer flash 'out' of light..i don't think so...
I, of course, know the code being flashed. I wanna see if anyone can actually read this (because I can't!) I just know the message because I wrote it in English..and my program converted it into Morse. :)
I was trained as a radio telegraphist in the navy almost 20 years ago and haven't used it since, realized I still got it while wathing Jericho. you have to realize that a completely different speed is used when signalling with a flash light than with tones. Flash signalling between vessels would be way much slower than this. A normal fast pace with tones is 80-120 signs per minute, with a flash light you need to slow it down to I guess 20-40 signs per minute
Yeah, I think I should flash the message more slowly. Being a programmer, I have decoded my own message 'my way'. I wrote a program which watches the on/off sequence of the LED and converts it into English! This is my way of reading Morse Code. lol!
I am afraid this is not correct light Morse. You need slower speed for light. I guess this is atleast 40, try 20.

There is a program called "Superaldis" that can use the computer screen for sending morse code.

Nice work, Ashish. Tell us what language you wrote the code in, please.

Coding is Fun - difficult to read, needs distinct pauses between letters.
