  • I know it's been a while since this was filmed but MostAngryIndustries . c o m is the main place you get a MAP tank. Clearly this is true since they are completely out of stock. BTW they're $25 now.

Juice acts like a lubrication because it IS a lubrication - the personal type. VG, glycerin, is the main ingredient in KY... That's right, KY is what you are vaping if you use any VG.

You can make your own MAP tank with an old empty bottle of juice for free, check out kennysmancave 's vids for how.

  • I just got my MAP tank and set it up. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I draw on it and i am getting noting but dry air that tastes like burning cotton. Any ideas?

  • @thespiswolf tip it upside down a couple times

  • @GrimmGreen Nothing. It's like vaping a bone dry atty. Was I supposed to put juice in the atty as well?

  • @thespiswolf oh yeah shit yes, I was under the impression you had the Original MAP tank, since that's what this video was about. Yes absolutely you will need to fill the cartomzier first. Make sure your cartoz are punched with holes as well to feed the juice. sorry my mistake

  • @GrimmGreen My bad! Yeah, it's funny how none of the DCT MAP vids mention filling the carto. They just show filling the tank.

  • @GrimmGreen I think I have it figured out. The prepunched DC cartos come with only 1 hole and it is very small. It just wasn't drawing the liquid up into the filler. I made the hole bigger with a hammer and nail and punched another on the other side. Now it is vaping like a champ.

Just want to say thank you for all your videos. I am a novice at all this and your vids really help me learn more.

  • Have you tried the Arry Tank yet? It uses standard RoyalSmoker CE2 XL Clearo's. Only $10 for a 5 pack.

    Silver Bullet + Arry Tank @ 3.0-3.2 Ohm= Heaven.

    Still kind of pricey though...

    -Hop

  • @TheSmackTalkPodcast I failed to mention... with 6 volts.

  • in italy on the esigarettaitalia.it shop you can find some ego battery compatible map tanks for around 10 euros

  • Hey! Great video, actually all of your videos are great I'm just now commenting lol... anyway, where where where did you find Marlboro Smooth Juice??? That is what I smoked in the icky-days of analogs... I would LOVE to find some! Can you hook me up with a link?

  • @Microbloody Hey grimm I was pretty curious about the smoothe juice myself!

  • I have to say I love the Map Tank, especially at 5V on my Megalodon with Halo Freedom Juice. It works on the Megaladon but you need to unscrew a little bit the Map tank to let air enter in the bottom of the tank. I just ordered at Madvapes a 510 extension in order to fix that point.

I use now XL CE2 clearomizers as spare parts for the Map Tank, as CE2 clearos always leak and I can't use them alone....But I use now new CE2 XL ULTIMATE clearomizers and they are really great, no leak at all.

  • Yeah. They do seem like they will work pretty good. I can't wait to get mine in. :) I'm still Vaping on the ole eGo T. Lol. Plus I've never vaped with anything over 3.7 volts. Lol. So maybe it will work great. I hope. Thanks ALOT for all your videos man! I've learned ALOT from you and your videos in the past 17 months of Vapping.

  • Cool video bro! I'm THINKING about getting me one (The aluminum one) to go with my Crome ProVeri when it comes in In a couple weeks.

Do you own a ProVeri Grimm??

    Thanks bro!

  • @Sergeantsteamer I don't own one, but I have used them on many occasions, very nice PV

  • if it gets banned in most states just think of all the money that can be made from making your own mods and selling them . home made juice will make people rich too.

  • Nice review...as usual! I am holding this piece of junk right now. Just started using it and I've done nothing but clean leaking juice all frickin day. Yup, $30 was a lot to spend but I was tired of the constant dripping. For that kind of money I expect this shit to work.

  • I must say the Map Tank is actually quite nice at 2.4 ohms on ego style batteries. I personally use them on my Volcano Infernos when I work. 5mls lasts me an entire shift at work (I do traffic flagging outside. On slow roads all there is to do is stand in one spot, vape and watch for traffic.)

  • @MurphyNH yeah i was rocking the MAP on an ego battery for a few weeks myself, makes it a bit more compact. i'm kinda jealous you get to vape at work lol

  • I bought a 5 pack of clearimizers and was sorely dissapointed, not even going to wast my time with anything other than direct dripping.

  • @YJWoadWarrior yeah, everyone has their favorite ways to vape, if something works then go with it you know? just trying to cover all the bases for people lol

  • Giant Sized Science Experiment Size Tank looks Awesome!

  • Hello Grimm i've watched heaps of your videos in research to upgrade to 6.0 volt vaping. I'm just looking to use some of your acquired knowledge to help me get a great 6 volter that i can throw a map tank or storm tank on. Silver bullet or a helix or have you found a better one?

  • @grimmgreen great videos!!!!

  • @Godusesamac Yeah, the main difference is the amount of juice, the MAP also does not constrict the wick like the Fluxomizers do... if that makes sense.. it actually works really great on tan Ego Battery... minus the cone that is...

  • @grimmgreen Storm Tank win! - Same deal as your review, the bottom got a little lubed with juice and slid around a bit. I just secured it and kept going. It's been two weeks and we're going strong. Love it. :)

  • @amandamaher COOL! once you get the hang of it , the MAP is incredibly handy, i got a chance to talk with the Most Angry Pirate at Vapefest , such a nice guy

  • hey grover717 liberty flights has a juice kinda like what ur lookin for its under the other ejuice tab try it out

  • Grimm,

How do you like the 3.2 on your SB? I am running 2 RCR123 @6volts and it is way too much for me! Not enjoyable at all. I ordered some 2.4s to try this tank @ 3.7 hoping it might be a little less painful.

  • @nole1028 yeah 6v is a bit much for the 3.2MAP , i find 5v works pretty well with the 2.3MAP , i like the 2.8MAP at 3.7v , been rocking it on an ego battery lately

  • Grimm,

How do you like the 3.2 on your SB? I am running 2 RCR123 @6volts and it is way too much for me! Not enjoyable at all. I ordered some 2.4s to try this tank @ 3.7 hoping it might be a little less painful.

  • That gooseneck config looks like something I'd run away from if I saw it in my doctor's office.

  • does it work on an eGo Batterie?

  • @echatorable it works great without the cone. I rocked a 2.8ohm MAP last night on my MegaEgo battery and it was a very nice vape.

  • I'm waiting on a Storm Tank from Stormy on Vapers Forum. I have a feeling it will be just as good for half price.

  • @amandamaher yeah probably, these are incredibly easy to make, been tossing around the idea of making my own for a while, let me know how it works out

  • Where, oh where can I find Marlboro Smooth juice? Those were my cigarettes.

  • How do you get so much vapor on every single PV? I smoked for 20 years, and I'm starting to think my body just processes the vapor differently. Could my lungs be absorbing that much more, or is it just a user/product error?

  • @slaptacular i'm not sure, it's just how i have always vaped. I will say the longer you hold in the vapor , the less vapor you will exhale as it dissipates rather quickly

  • @slaptacular If you breath through your nose while your inhaling that will also limit the amount of vapor produced.

  • The map tank on top of the gooseneck looks like some kind of new police weapon. Seriously Nick, that is a killer looking mod. Another 'across~the~board' stellar/honest review. I really dig hearing your stamp of approval before I even consider buying a new e-cigarette product. One thing I mentioned before was "a lot of these items are sold-out when you go to check them out"? There are no map tanks. When they get your stamp of approval, they sell out! So I wait.....

    Great review~

  • LMAO @ the MOST angry pirate. Also, why is he not the Angriest Prirate? Doubly also, I miss "What's in the news today Robin?" #justsayin Thanks for the review dude. I've heard so much about problems with wicking though. It's good for you in that respect?

  • grimm green stickers!!! I'd rock em on my car or bicycle... haha.

  • Its expensive but hard to put your hands on. Ive emailed to be notified at COV no word in 3 weeks? Damn, im really thinking about making my own.

  • @realdad32 yeah i know he gets them in "batches" and once they are sold out , they are gone until the next "batch" kind of a bummer

  • Who do you get your "flu cured" from that you like so much? I just got some from juicy vapor and it doesn't have much taste at all.. Im not a queer or nothin..But their hot cocoa w marshmallows is great!

  • @demnklnr lol , no shame in that dude, i get my flucured from liquidxpress

  • Dude, my heads gonna explode.... please consider boxing and selling your fave components in a kit. I'd be the first order.

  • I WANT A FLUXOMIZER !!! restock already .... WTF!!!

    Loving the 5v Kazoo

would realy like it with a fluxomizer

  • hi mate,

i can confirm that e-liquid does act as an excellent lubricant........though my wife complains of a stinging sensation :P

  • @igetcha69 dude Scott! gross lol

  • I just listen to your show and stare at the brittney poster. I aint gonna lie

  • @pvtvargas that's fine , it takes all my strength to not turn around and stare at it while i'm filming lol

  • thankyou, bro

  • Awesome review - I have the same experiences with them, which is to say I also think they look like science experiments. But, for sure, I'm going to continue befuddling my fellow rush hour sufferers as I alternately whiz and creep by 'em vaping a MAP. They're a driver's best bud.

  • @SheLuvsHerIpod i totally agree with you , in the car , hell even at my desk i just like using it lol

  • Thanx for the honest review bro. I really like the idea of these and kind of figured it would be like a giant clearo. I still like the idea and am not concerned about the size of them but the price does seem to be quite too high. I really can't see paying 30 bucks for one yet. I really wanna give one a shot but 30 bucks...i dunno thats the only part I'm not liking right now.

  • @ErdmanTheBarbarian the good thing about the MAP is that the wick is free to move and absorb more juice, rather than being in the constricting clearomizer. i'm still vaping the clearomizers and they are working well , but the MAP is like a super clearomizer i guess , also expensive.

  • great review! having dry o' rings is the key.

  • @orthchris i could not agree with you more, thanks for stopping by Chris!

  • wow grimm if you like ce2s i would say get one me i dont like the ce2. and let me say this video has more inuendos then a certain ranch in arizona lol nice man.

  • @VapeDeadeye lmfao , yeah... waaaaaay to many innuendos , hope you are doing well buddy

  • how long does the 3.2 last at 6v before replacing the guts of the tank...

  • @63677 ehhhh , not sure , i have been using these for almost 4 weeks now and they are still performing fantastic. I'm assuming it will have a similar lifespan to a regular atty , 2 months maybe? i guess i'll have to wait and see

  • Looks so epic with the gooseneck haha

  • @metabolicraged yeah ha ha , it looks a little silly

  • If you can replace the atomizer part for 5 bucks 30 bucks does not sound that bad to get started. They are out of pretty much everything right now.

  • @Smarterthanyouarable yeah i noticed that , there are my DIY videos on making your own "MAP" style tank for only a few $ rather than $30

  • Great review and how-to as always Grimmy. Yeah, I can't see why anyone would spend $30 on one of these when it's so stupid simple to build your own out of a syringe and a CE2 R4 in 10 minutes. Guess it's the PT Barnum effect. ;-) Cheers!

  • @steeljan Steeljan, you cant run over a syringe mod with a car and expect it to work ;-) yah, there is a video for that

  • @texasvapors So true, but a new syringe is 5 cents, lol. Cheers!

  • @steeljan lol , possibly , after trying this tank , it makes me incredibly interested in making my own (bigger) map tank, thanks for watching sister :)

  • your hands are all over the place lol

  • TheVaoeBabe just called you for a booty call, guess this review turned her on too. If that Map Tank acts up, smack that ass and call her a bitch... she'll vape!

  • @interstink ?wtf?

  • Thanks for the review though, Grimm. Always a pleasure. You're my favorite YT face to see!

  • @rbass311 oh thank you so much dude! that really means a lot , i just do what i do

  • Yeeeah I can't justify spending 30 bux on something I could make for like 2 bux from Home Depot. It's two plugs and a piece of tubing.

Highway robbery just like TONS of other Ecig products.

Good thing I don't pay for my atomizers anymore. I make my own and they BLOW the chinese ones out of the water. I refuse to give anyone instructions on how to make them too, because everyone's backstabbing and stealing ideas these days. Only to charge an arm and a leg for someone elses idea.... BS

  • Your vapebans link needs an extra "w." Love the review btw. You totally sold me on it.

  • @civitasdei ahh thanks for the heads up , gonna fix it , thanks for watching

  • thanks GG,now i need another part,510-510,for my don that still hasnt arrived, yup im fuckin pissed, damn post office!!!! batteries from china 6 days, mail from states over 1 month still not here wtf?

  • @meyiyiyi55 BUMMER! i'm sorry that sucks , the waiting is the worst part , hope your gear arrives soon

  • I had been considering buying one, but could not justify the $30.00 for it. Great Vid Grimm

  • @dexcaliber yeah... that's the catch , $30 is expensive, no way around it. There are many DIY videos around on how to make your own MAP style tank for much much less money

  • Yet another helpful, informative, and entertaining review! I like the fact that they look like a science project, but they price, eh... I hope to have my mind made up on these by the time they are back in stock. Thanks Grimm!

  • @missjenibee thanks Jenibee, it looks totally like a sci-fi science experiment ha ha , if it had a little LED on the inside then the look would be complete lol

  • Quick correction. :-) I did superglue the bottom of mine on initially, but that was because of an error on my part (whoops). I have since broken the superglue seal, dryed out both the top and bottom very well, and put all the pieces back together. Works GREAT now! Although, the bottom looks weird now because I sill have glue residue below the seal. Oops...

  • @jnewcomb84 dude bro dude , put some HoneyBeez in that bitch , it tastes effing amazing * judging*

  • I have two map tanks one of which has had the clear lexan tubing replace with a 12ml syringe body. More durable but less pleasing to the eye but the main thing is it is a very very tight fit that will not pull apart easily or leak. If you cut it right you can use the mil marks to see how fast you are going through your juice as a plus. I also place the second rubber gasket below the metal top tube annoying when filling but never leaks.

  • @ldemo381611 sounds cool , after trying the MAP i'm toying around with making my own very soon

  • Great review bro, I was thinking of ordering a MAP tank, now I'm definitely sold!!!

  • @r0adkill24 very cool dude

  • Excellent review.

  • @ooPROTOTYPE1oo thanks Proto!

  • "On a goose neck, deal with it." Gets me every time lol.

  • @MangledKiller ha ha ha , deal with it

  • I would pay $10

  • @Shameful26 even $15 might be more reasonable

  • There would still be juice in the wick-being saturated. This looks fantastic to little old me. would the pirate ship to Australia you reckon?

  • @GalaxyHorse not sure if COV ships international or not , sorry :/

  • Every time you give a good review of something its instantly sold out!! You should be getting paid.... a lot!

Vapers, help me fight the vape ban in Tennessee at vapebans dot com... PLEASE!!!

  • @demnklnr Funny thing is, these were already selling out within less than a few hours. And then he gets one for free. Lucky! But yeah, all suppliers know that sending samples to Grimm is the best thing they could do.

  • @demnklnr lol , nawww i don't need to get paid, i do it for the vapers!!

  • @GrimmGreen open an online store..call it "The GrimmGreenhouse" hella money... slogan can be "Globally warming the Planet..one vape at a time"

  • I dont want to stop vaping but the way everything is going it is almost cheaper and more hassle free to smoke cigarettes. I wish i was as lucky as some of you guys that get alot of stuff for free. Oh and everything i seem to touch never works properly its getting quite annoying . Like low resistances attys :(

  • @CanadianEh2010 try low resistance cartomizers ..Vapor kings has nice ones..Just keep them wet with your favorite liquid..I could vape the rest of my life on those..1 carto usually lasts 3-5 days

  • Hey whats up Nick? Awesome review brother, very detailed. There are so many top feeders these days, I love all the options we have as vapors :) . thanks for the great review.....

  • @vaporskitchen thanks Chef!

  • So Grimm how long does one of those last compared to a normal atty?

  • @macdoyal so far it's only been a few weeks , so i'm not %100 sure

  • I guess you got lucky...i bought 4 MAPS from MAP at the vapemeet (it was at a discount at the meet)..the 1st one burned out, I gave the 2nd one away cus the juice was leaking through the connector, the third is sitting in my stash box with the juice pretty much evaporating, and the 4th is new in the bag..all @ 3.2ohms..I didn't want to do a review because I was skeptical if it was alright to vape it @ 6v...but due to your review, I will give it another shot. Nice vid Nick =-D

  • @vapingmonkey wow bummer dude, give it a shot at 6v, i have been rocking a 2.8ohm at 6v and it's rocking ass, i don't think you will like the draw though. no matter... let me know how it goes CJ , hope you are well buddy

  • Nice review Grimm. 30 bucks seems a little absurd to me. It'd be pretty slick if you were driving for hours and had no safe opportunity to drip but other than that...meh...I'll stick to dripping.

  • @HellsMaverick yeah no real way around it , it's pricey. Bunch of DIY videos out there on making your own MAP style tank at a fraction of the cost

  • Love that Desktop background..... Kinda nice.

  • @tonyt4ever lol , i don't even remember where it came from

  • FIRST!!!!!!! I love you!!!

  • @TheVapeBabe YAYYYY!! love you
