The verse actually highlights that EVERYONE has said in their hearts that there is no God and this is shown by sin, but Jesus came and revealed him to us in bodily form and those who put faith in him have been given a new heart in him

There IS a God. Guys if there is no God then how did the universe begin? The big bang theory? There was nothing and then by magic an explosion? Cmon please tell me you all are smarter than that! @raulsnchez On DNA production, just because we can't make something doesn't prove anything. One thousand years ago, we couldn't make plastics. Also, there's the fact that we have synthesized genes already (unsure whether that's what you mean by production of DNA in a lab). It is, as you should know, impossible to prove a negative, but the chances of a literal interpretation of the Bible being true seem incredibly low.

@caldanwil Mass suicides happen more often with cults than atheist groups. Tho single suicides do show atheists are higher on the charts. This may be due to the fact atheist are not afraid of a "hell" which might lead to more suicides. Also, there's the fact that we have synthesized genes already (unsure whether that's what you mean by production of DNA in a lab). But once they disobeyed Him, they sinned. Once that happened, they fell victim to death. Death is from the devil. In other words, instead of choosing God, they chose the devil so to speak. So after thousands of years later, God had to come in the form of a man "Jesus" to die a human death so He could save us from going to hell.

@bkisme Here we go with this biasm of opinionating statements. For one, it's pathetic for you, it's not a fact. Two, there are actual evidence that can disprove evolution, you just have to have an open mind. Three, I can easily go account on abiogenesis and ask for observable evidence; like, kill a living cell and put it in a tube with the right temperature, PH, all the nutrients, amino acid. Now, let's see if a living cell or some type of living form will appear. Thought so.

A designer to a designer to a designer to a designer.......infinite. So in this assumption, you must make it finite, therefore; a designer that does not need to be designed. @digga115 My point exactly, the whole design argument has a huge fundemental flaw, it simply goes on for ever with every designer having a designer. If however you choose to assume that the building has a designer that was designed by a designer who exists without a designer, how can you even ask me "You look at a building, you will immediately assume there was a designer", when i could say the exact same thing about your god.

I on the other hand have a much better explanation as to how people came to be the way that they are and my explanation is backed by more than a century's worth of ground breaking research and rock-solid evidence. If you are familiar with the subject of biology, archaology, genetics etc, then you will know what it is i speak of.

Take a sterile test tube, Put in a little bit of fluids, right salts, and the right acidity and alkalinity, just the right temperature, perfect solution for a living cell, Put one living cell. Take a sterile needle, and poke the cell. And all the nutrients and molecules to create life comes out of that cell. Now you have all the molecules to create life. Now let's observe if these molecules can make life once again.

I won't be so arrogant as to propose a god and claim that my opinion on how life began is absolute fact. I have an understanding of human origins but not life itself.

@johhnycarlos Atheism is not a belief that god is not real, it has no positive belief. You could be indifferent to the existence of a god and still be an atheist. Atheism means lack of belief that there is a god. And it doesn't require faith either, just like not believing in magical space unicorns requires no faith. The way you try to shift the burden of proof is telling of how weak your argument is.

Evidence can be quite tricky.... however when an entity is claimed to be infinite..and happens to be undetectable only by our 5 senses is stupid in the sense that the entity is not infinite as there are properties which it does not have
