If my bike has no suspension will a wheelie be harder or easier to do? My bike still has MTB wheels but no suspension. PLEASE HELP, ive been trying for a few days and all i can do is lift my front wheel up like a foot or 10in. Thanks and AWESOME vid.

@tameemz90 you should be able to wheelie your bike regardless if it has suspension or not. rear suspension is not needed for it and neither is front suspension. these are just there for when you go trail riding but if you dont have suspension i do not reccomend it. just keep trying it. possibly select a higher gear so its easier to get the front wheel up.

Gear.. i use 2 on the left and 5-6-7 on the right side, its pretty important to have a high gear to hold the bike up, if you drive with low gear your peatteling way to much and its hard to hold the bike up for mor than 20 sekunds, TAKE A LOOK AT MY 3.5 KM WHEELIE!!!!

@Mrsafety36 Use your lowest gear (smallest cogwheel) in the front and one of the three lowest gears (biggest cogwheels) in the back. Pretty much just use your 2 lowest gears.

@TheKiteXtreme It's actually easier on a hardtail as the balance point, as far as the bikes goes, remains the same. I would recommend not using SPD's... either use them with normal shoes or buy some cheap standard pedals from a bike shop for about $15.

33 years old and just found balance point today, i have found by looking at the horizon rather than down at the front wheel helps a lot with balance. gears = small on front, 5th on rear, or middle on front + 3rd on rear. practice, practice, practice.....

I am 33 years old and have been riding for too long not to have learned this maneuver completely. The specific timing and tips provided are the details which lack from other videos.
