I say if your smart enough to Dual Boot OS X and Windows 7 than that is your best option because than you get the best of both worlds.

windows is jsut....nasty...its a messy OS its slow it freezes, it restarts, it gets computer destroying viruses and there bad quality. mac is just better in every way

If you buy a Mac for gaming, then you obviously "don't know shit about computers". It's not the specifications with the new model Mac's (such as the iMac with quad core i5's and i7's and pretty good graphics card), it's the lack of games on the Mac platform. But as the Mac brand grows and with Steam on Mac, you will see more and more games out for Mac. If you wanna play games on your Mac, chances are you can play it, just install Windows via Bootcamp and VOILA.

A person buying a Mac should NEVER expect it to be have better specifications than most high-end Windows-based PCs on the market. There's a reason Mac's are the best selling high-end expensive computers. First of all, the professional market (graphic design, film & video companies, etc.) seek Mac as their first option. If you want to edit videos professionally and/or graphics, the 27" iMac, although expensive, the resolution of the monitor (it's a $1,000 monitor ALONE) is outstanding.

@Tulanirebe True, I totally got ripped off. I hate macs so much after that. I returned my iMac and bought an HP-E 510y gaming PC, for just $1100. You'd need a mac that costs $8000 to out-perform the PC I got now.

@WayToSatan If you want it fast get Ubuntu, and Windows runs everything smooth for me my experience with mac was really bad, the viruses thing is not valid there are more people using windows and hackers know windows, so they code viruses for windows. And yes there are viruses on mac few but there are.

@WayToSatan I explained to you why pc has more viruses, and I said that pc always worked fast for me. Not the same with mac I get that colorfull thingy all the time, the only things that didn't ran has good has it did on a mac for me was iTunes. Get a fast pc and it will faster than a mac (there's better hardware for the pc), and I am not a pc fanboy, I wanna get myself a mac (the mac I used isn't mine), but the price is a complete scam, waaay overpriced.

If you watch the whole video you see that windows 7 actually boots faster than a Mac when run on pc. Running windows through bootcamp is obviously going to be slower than running the os on a device designed for windows

@TheVladarte I think everything is about settings and customization. Win 7 is a good platform if you handle it with care and maintain it well. Can be faster and smoother than the OSX. You can do ... ANYthing with it. :)
