I ask this question as a fellow artist . " Why paint on such a small canvas ? " this painting will inevitably find it's place in the corridor to the toilet of someone's home. There are tens of thousands of painters who paint this type of painting no joke. Subject matter , size , etc it's important . The smallest painting I paint is 80cm x 80cm , I've sold over 2000 paintings in 30 years . I dont paint for toilet corridors , I paint for a the big picture. Go for it !

Wow, this is a fantastic medium. It's clear from Alison's technique, that more people interested in painting would embrace this style. You make it look so easy and even fun.
