...sorry guys, i disagree. His "che gelida manina" is really good, his voice is excellent. But you are of the opinion, that this is "the best rendition of this aria"? Absolutely no! Technically ok, sometimes a little sloppy, not very precise. And there is no difference between Puccini and Donizetti in his way of singing. He might be a promising tenor, but this rendition is just average.

Ok, not the optimum choice for this young man but he sings it cleanly if somewhat uninspired. It is a tough piece for the bigger voices. Perhaps if he comes back to it in a few years he'll have a better grasp of the style. Heard his Boheme aria on YT & that suits him extremely well. Best wishes for his career hopes.

I saw Eric in the Madison Opera production of the Pearl Fishers. His voice is exceptionally beautiful. He's also a grand person!!

The great thing about him is that he sings EFFORTLESSLY!!! I am still trying ti hide the tricks I use to suppourt the sound with my lower abdomen! He does it effortlessly! Amazing!
