This song was written by Skip Scarborough. He also wrote "Love Ballad" by LTD, "Don't Ask My Neighbor" by the Emotions and "Can't Hide Love" by Earth, Wind and Fire. A great, great songwriter left behind an incredible music legacy.

OMG ... Really?... Kashif's version ???....teach their own... but for God's sake this version (and the MF studio version) has so FREEEKIN' Much Soul.

The Kashif version is like a Tony Orlando and Dawn version.

Can't you hear the difference between the two? One singer is sing "about it" and this one is "gutting" it out for you right there on stage in this song.

This is one of the best soul ballad's ever recorded. It pasted me to the wall over 30 years ago when I first heard it ...still does
