As a major Abbott and Costello fan, this is one of my favorite episodes. It's a shame Babbitt and Catstello didn't have a bunch of cartoons(only three that I know of). It's also a shame they're left out of the movies(SPACE JAM....BACK IN ACTION), and the video games too.

Interesting that Looney Toons, a subsidiary of Warner Brothers, would make a cartoon imitating two comedians who worked for Universal Pictures. Universal made the Woody Woodpecker-Andy Panda cartoons. Warners usually used WB actors as comic prototypes. A&C would make "Jack and the Beanstalk" for WB in 1952.

They used full orchestra's and spared no expense on sound effects to make these cartoons, unlike the garbage they make today. They put a lot of thought into these cartoons which in many cases contained a lot of adult humor. Of course many people didn't realize it until they became adults.
