SL600 vs CL65 short run

That CL65 should be faster if both cars are stock. The CL65 is built by AMG with a 6.0L motor and the SL600 is built by Mercedes-Benz with 5.5L motor. There is horesepower, torque and transmission programming involved here.. all in the favor of the CL65 since AMG had their hand in it.

Easy, I downshift via gear level and press the pedal furthest to the right, usually teh acceleration pedal. Kind of easy actually.

There is a 200 lb weight difference, but that aside, a CL65 would easily pull on an SL600. In the video, the SL got the jump no doubt, but the CL was right on him. Having to slow down for traffic ahead. If the road had been clear, and both drivers willing, you would have seen the CL65 overtake the SL within a few seconds.

The CLs are bigger than the SLs, you are only looking at the engines but your not looking the cars.

well its about a 200-300 lbs difference in weight, and also is just another 100hp more than a 600. wat do u expect to see a cl65 make a sl600 look as if it werent even moving just cus its got that extra 100hp and some extra weight?
