This is a loaded question that presupposes a lot things that most of us New Christians quite simply cannot believe anymore. Please feel free to converse. The simple answer is "Yes"...and it depends on exactly what you mean. Do you believe in the Jesus who said "Where are your accusers?"
@sfeltmate Before I answer, I would like to know what is meant when you refer to yourself and others as "New Christians"? I do believe in the Christ of the Bible, but am curious as to what you are referring to.
@orderofmelchizedek1 I would suggest reading Brian McLaren's book "A New Kind of Christianity" as a starting point. Also check out Doug Pagitt's "A Christianity Worth Believing". That will at least get you up to speed on the conversation.
I was with you at NNU last weekend, Bryan. I love this song, but I must admit it's hard for me to sing. Like the other songs from this project, it really stretches me. Much like the Psalms.
I like it, Brian. Nicely done. And having checked out a couple of your other videos on "the worship industry", I'm sad to say that I agree completely.
at least ur not a christian, cuz their god is violent, so who is this new kinder gentler god that u believe in?does it have a name

I wonder what this sounds like back masked...This has got a creepy "To- much -acid-
Hippie-Jesus- Movement" vibe to it.....But then again, so does Mclaren's theology.

uh . . . get serious. You can't "believe in" God unless you believe in some kind of propositional truth.

I agree, however how do you reconcile this with the doctrine of Hell?
