    Cnr of Waverley & Jellicoe

Went to look at the aftermath today and the road is split in half.

  • @MrAddyJiggs I'd never seen so much water in my life. My sister was stuck in the CBD when the storm struck & caused the flash flooding. My heart was pounding & up in my throat because communications were down & I couldn't contact my sister during the flood to see if she was ok. Luckily she was eventually able to ring me some time later. She was down near McCafferty's and witnessed all of those cars getting swept away. It's just bloody devastating the amount of destruction from that flood.

  • atleast melco getting some advertising

  • How was the street behind you ?

  • @azza8801

The street we were standing on wasnt to bad although the water level was rising pretty quickly.

North St which is the next main parallel road behind me was not as bad as the one on the video here but still had a fair bit of water flowing down it.

  • @MrAddyJiggs

thanks, i was just curious cause my work is just up the street from there, i've seen some pictures and there was only a small amount of low lying water throughout the workshop

  • Awesome footage.

  • @superseries4

Thanks - It was pretty full on the roads turned into rivers in a matter of minutes.

  • there goes my gym...

  • :( hope all my family and friends are safe aswell as every one easl :(
