It is said a long time ago: forbid the right to possess guns and it will be only the criminals who will posses them.

@tyzhen Man you are right, gun laws only really punish law abiding citizens that follow the rules...the criminals will always arm themselves with general disregard for the written law. I heard on the news yesterday that following the shootings in Arizona, there is a movement to ban high capacity handgun magazines, like we didn't all see that coming? The gun is always blamed and never the shooter. 99.9% of the gun owners in this country never fire a single shot in anger, yet we all pay the price.

If that were the case the NRA would be advocating for personal nuclear bombs you could carry around and not just personal assult weapons you could carry around.

As far as cars go - driving a car is not a right. Not even in LA. It's a privledge that you have to be licensed for.
