Even so, html5 performance is still so far behind desktop performance, and especially native app performance that's this benchmarking is pretty irrelevant. If you're interested in performance, you don't run a script, in a web browser, on a mobile phone.

wierd. chrome seems to only get 11fps whereas firefox gets 60fps. maybe this is some kind of anti webkit benchmark

@thre3aces chrome does not have hardware acceleration, firefox actually has hardware acceleration on Windows Vista/7

It's a HTML5 Canvas test.

It doesn't prove HTML5 is faster, but Canvas is.

In more details, it just shows that Microsoft implemented hardware acceleration for Canvas while other device didn't YET.

Like Android doesn't have 3D tranform HW accelerated while iOS does.
