Haystacks was a very big man.

I would bet a pound to a penny (porkys)are added to the billing of wrestlers today.

Haystacks was seen as a bit of a freak back in the day,

He sold himself well as the bad guy.

@petejellis In truth, the crowd ALWAYS supported a good-guy foreign wrestler against any bad-guy British (white?) wrestler. In retrospect I think it showed me that people are people, in spite of the clumsy device of stereotyping for show.
