The grass is Woodland Scenics 'Field Grass' - Color Harvest Gold.

really cool :D impressive wheat field :) it's also appropriate for WWI and WWII games imho

Just one thing: painting the ground of a wheat field in a brown gives the impression of an abbandoned field...

in order to make it seem like a recently used field the under paint should be a little more yellow and here and there some yellow flock/static grass

The chasm blueprint can be easily transformed in a magmatic crack in the terrian, don't you think?

I actually tried to get the ground to look darker as I think recently broken farm soil has a rich organic look, but it ended up lighter. I will be experimenting more with the color in the future.
