I think the ddr2 has to do with the ram and not your graphics card, you just need a PCIe x16 slot for that graphics card, post your motherboard model.

if you bought it in like the last 3-4 years it should be totally compatible, just make sure you have a power supply for the card, if you have the box from your motherboard it would help. Ask some people in your nearest computer shop before buying the card to make sure.

this power supply is good.. i have 9600GT Turbo Force and she running on my supply without bugs etc :) I prefer for you 8800 GTS 640 mb/320 bits it is a one of the best cards in good cost :)

i don't know who tell you this shit about card... my friend have 8800GTS 512MB on this computer: 2x1Gb of Ram Motherboard Asus Supply 500 W and processor AMD Dual Core 5200+ ... he is lair ! and the best of takes power is radeons.. this is grills :D its no way about this are you hear in shop... 8800 take about ~100 Watts and I'm sure on 100 % so, buy this card :) but if you have more cash i prefer 9800 or someone in GTX series...

No problem, the ddr of the graphics card is different form that of your motherboard ram. You can very well use an 8800gt on your ddr2 motherboard. I have a similar setup
