Most hip hop is caricatural. Fronting, posing, and giving attitude is a big part of it. It's really ebarrassing sometimes. Tigarah, on the other hand, seems far less caricatural to me. Baile is a very aggressive music which she knows well from living in Brazil, so she's not just imitating something she has no firsthand knowledge of. She performs well and without half of the idiotic pseudo-gangsta mannerisms that you'd expect from (insert favourite emcee's name here). I think she's great.
