This reminds me of when I was a kid in Toronto and Mom would have the clothes on the line and they would be shunting coal cars with steam engines, and if the air was heavy the smoke would stay low and roll along the ground like that! We lived pretty close to the rail line! Mom used to tease Dad by singing "Wayward Wind"!
