Its fast enough that the racing foam tires lose traction even when turning at a small angle. basically, you cant blink or you'll crash lol

oh~~ are you american? i just the calculations and 50mph is 80.5km/h so 90km/h is like 56mph (this is rounded) i guess its not that far off, but heres the funny thing, my motor and esc is stock LOL, i just changed the wiring to hit this speed

thx lol^^ how many turns is your motors spec? my stock one is 27T which is around 25,000rpm if not modded, (note that the lower the number the higher the rpm)

ohhh about an 18(pinion) 61(spur gear with most teeth)

O_O, the smallest size is 19 teeth i think, and that can only use the 61 spur, you must use 22 teeth or higher to use 58 spur, and only 25 teeth pinion can use 55 spur,

But you say you can hit 50mph with stock gear ratio? thats amazing~~.... since i know your motor is strong enough, i suggest using 22 pinion and 58 spur or 61 spur, this will give you more top speed without losing much torque^^ have fun~

what tires are you using? cause if you want FWD, you need foam tires with weight in the front, soft front springs with hard damper&vise versa for back, RWD is basically the exact opposite in terms of the needed settings, but you can use other tires too except PVC. FWD cant use other tires or it will understeer horribly

the main things are the battery (most important) and the motor.

i hooked up my 5300mah lipo battery (top class battery) to my old toy class remote control car with a stock motor. went like stink.

it will wreck the motor eventually so you need to have equally good parts for speed and reliability.

and btw, lower turns in a motor will give you a higher top speed but less torque (acceleration)

i'd just google for guides on buying remote control cars. even look on forums.

dont drive it on grass, only pavemnet becasue these are rally onroads, youll mess the car up, trust me it happened to me, i own a kyosho nitro on road, and that thing sucks in anything from its tires.

Its the old HPI rally Chassis. My cuzin stopped racing these r/c cars and so he gave it to me. Currently trying to work on its belt drive and greasing the gears to make it run faster. Its hard to find the parts for it =p
