@perfectdarkzero9 Actually, you can pretty easily kick twice very fast with the bass drum if you use the right technique. Not three times but TWICE as he does here. It's kinda same thing as with the snare.

yeah, if you have some good cymbals send them my way. this video's from over a year ago, i still move my wrist around a bit but not quite as much. i find more wrist action like that makes it easier to memorize because if the pattern is accenting 1 and 3 in a 5/4, my wrist gets used to alternating between accenting twice then one more and the muscle memory takes over in playing over different time signatures and i can focus on something else.

good feel man. yeah, i think the only comment i have technique wise is 2112 said about the arm. i love 311 too. on another note though (and i know due to space constraints you may not be able to do this), but if you could adjust the camera to let people look at your snare hand technique that would be helpful. loved the comment to nonmum! peace and keep jammin'.

Use your toms man.. Just use your toms! And play the hi-hat from your wrist, not your elbow, otherwise you can't play 1 1/2 hours in a live performence.. but you use your basedrum nice though!

yeah, the HHX's are really good and have a really concise sound but when I get into a song I wind up hitting my cymbals heavier than I need to. The result is the volume of my other drums make it sound like they're being dampened more than they actually are.
