You can probably judge what type of ordnance was kept inside by the fact it's not large enough for a forklift, and maybe a pallet can't even fit through the door. Probably boxes of small arms, grenades, or mortars at most.

This was never build for atomic purpose, but for air bombartments, and to bomb this from the air, you would have to know where it was, and being in the forest and covered, you wouldn't. This is like all the bunkers underground in Europe from the wars, a place to go to if there's bombing.

@DeeWeext Then maybe you haven't seen a real bunker, or an air raid shelter. I even have one on my own building, built in 1950-51. Even simple shelters have at least one solid blast door, or else the door would just collapse if a bomb exploded nearby, and proper air infiltration systems, incidentally with similar HEPA filters as you will find in modern vacuum cleaners, etc, only bigger. That looks more like a storage room, or else it is VERY primitive indeed.

theres a small bunker in my town, its near a pieace of an old water tower that fell during the 80's. the entrance itself is no big deal, but theres a small hole with a shitty ladder on the side of it. im a chicken shit and decided not to go down, but my friend did and found a huge rusted door, and your not going to beleive what he found inside...i only have limited comment space tho so...if you want the full story message me

the bunkers in this area were made to store ammo and bring it to aa guns, here in germany we called them flaks ( flugabwehrkörper)

I stumbled across one of these in the woods in Germany on the line between Bavaria and Hessen, they are probably pretty common. Same style, with a few windows for perhaps guns or machine guns or to check who's coming up on you. Probably were used mainly for storage of ammo, food, etc for a line of defense that would be set up along the hills in the woods.
