Yes it has Skirmish. Because of it uses Ra3 engine the computers are very smart yet very hard, they don't randomly build units and make them stuck like in the original Ra1
They retreat and there is just plenty of scripts the Dev team is working.
As for the Campaign mode, it might be worked on later, right the the dev team is have too much work in their hand and after they have finished fixing band balancing issues they said they might work on remake of Ra1 campaign.

@davedavedaveannoy1 EA. EA bought out westwood, and ruined the series. The only semblance the new RA has to the old one is the name, and the same guy composed the music. The movie direction is by someone else, gameplay is totally different, etc. This is why RA3 sucks compared to the old classic RA.

@DrGarkng That's absurd - WWI was what could be called an historical inevitability - it has to happen by the 1910s, with the elaborate and hostile alliances systems in place, arms race, rampant nationalism and gross militarism in the governments back then, anything as big or smaller than Ferdinand's assasination in Sarajavo is enough to trigger a war. There is no way it wouldn't go off sooner or later. Einstein would not be able to stop the first, let along the second, in Red Alert
And he wouldn't have stop the Tiberium wars in C&C 3 through the same way - The Brotherhood of Nod in the series had existed for thousands of years, and would had used another way to gain power if the Soviet Union failed to provide the resources required to do so. And stopping WWI and Nod wouldn't prevent Tiberium from being planted by the Scrin and starting all sorts of wars for it...
Want to stop all of them? Go back in time and delete Hitler in 1924, as Einstein does here, but than go back in time and stop the Franco-Prussian War in 1870s (which resulted in WWI alliance systems) and then thousands of years back and kill Kane (not quite possible) to prevent the Brotherhood of Nod from existing, then finally millions of years back (wit a starship) and destroy the Scrin homeworld before they evolve and plant Tiberium on Earth. This is the only solution in that world

EPIC HISTORICAL FAILURE - They failed their research on the historical parts - a scenario like this, Soviet invasion of Europe, is simply not possible. Before WWII Stalin's position was already becoming a bit shaky. Without Hitler, give him another 5 years and he would be deposed in a coup. And even with the fancy techs the Russians sucked - they can't defeat the Finnish or the Polish single handedly before the WWII. Still, good game
You're seriously talking about historical plausability in a game where Einstien invents a time machine to kill Hitler? It's pretty obvious that the writers had their tounges firmly in their cheeks, even moreso in RA2 of course. it's all just an excuse for a (by then/the mid-90s) nostalgic take on anti-USSR propoganda. @ivan55599 The yak attack plane is the basic airplane of the Soviet armies! It used a row of machine gun fire to attack it's target. They had weak armour, but were decently fast and their anti-infantry pwnage made them useful.

I am the beta tester of the Mod it will be released this summer. I am doing my best to report bugs and balance issues.
You need the actual Red Alert 3 game since the mod uses Ra3 engine (3D engine) to run.
Just get the game it's not that much expensive now, and then grab the mod and enjoy hours of online multiplayer :D

EPIC HISTORICAL FAILURE - They failed their research on the historical parts - a scenario like this, Soviet invasion of Europe, is simply not possible. Before WWII Stalin's position was already becoming a bit shaky. Without Hitler, give him another 5 years and he would be deposed in a coup. And even with the fancy techs the Russians sucked - they can't defeat the Finnish or the Polish single handedly before the WWII. Still, good game

You're seriously talking about historical plausability in a game where Einstien invents a time machine to kill Hitler? It's pretty obvious that the writers had their tounges firmly in their cheeks, even moreso in RA2 of course. it's all just an excuse for a (by then/the mid-90s) nostalgic take on anti-USSR propoganda. But I agree, good game :)

@ivan55599 The yak attack plane is the basic airplane of the Soviet armies! It used a row of machine gun fire to attack it's target. They had weak armour, but were decently fast and their anti-infantry pwnage made them useful.

haha i remember this trailer too. in the german version there was a sound sample from tanya when the westwood showed up at the end and she was saying "how about some rock n roll?" :D
