  • @bieske22 Lot's of posts, I realize, but I wanted to let you know that you can take off 5% on your first purchase on our website by using coupon code USBcrazy5% Enjoy!

  • @bieske22 HIDEIN has thought of creating a system wherein a third-party could access the information without a new key, but to maintain a certain level of security they have yet to. The unique code is backed up in your email address and if you want to be extra secure, you could hide it somewhere on your computer, another external USB, etc. just like you would hide a normal key in a hide-in fake rock (not recommended). Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any further questions!

  • @bieske22 Thanks for the comment! It's like this: the partitions are created on your hard drive, and the only key to open it is the HIDEIN security key with the unique code in it you created when you registered. Just like a locksmith would create a new key for you if you didn't have a spare, the only way to get your files back is to get a new security key. Much like a set of house keys, it's always good to keep an extra one handy. Why does HIDEIN have this type of procedure? For security!

  • If you lose your Security Key you must buy another Security Key to open your back up files from the first key.

    Why is that?

  • Yeah this would be very handy!

  • It's only like $13.99 for a 2GB stick....super cool idea to create encrypted partitions on any kind of memory...

  • How can this be so cheap?
