Very beautiful! There is the odd imperfection, but I'm coming more and more to the thought that these are irrelevant. Let the professionals be perfect, but that shouldn't let us amatures be afraid to post also. Music is also for fun and to express our creativity. I'm coming a bit late for Christmas, but I should look through my music for some Christmas songs to play.

Very nice job!! You have a sweet sound on the E string. I like this song too. It's not my favorite though. When it comes to that, I have to love Carrol of the Bells. Perhaps I should change my favorite to something I can play.

A mí no me parece que haber tenido casi 200 videorespuestas y haber sido un video destacado en Irlanda y en Gran Bretaña sea hacer el ridículo. :)

Sólo se trataba de juntar la mayor cantidad de villancicos de todo el mundo, para celebrar de este modo la navidad.

Y ya sé que no toco bien el violín, lo ridículo sería pensar que sí lo hago, solo muestro mis avances, y mi experiencia como autodidacta, no quiero presumir de nada.

about the vibrato, I think it would help to try to make the motion originate from your elbow rather than from your wrist.

I played violin for two years (started aged 21!) and it really opened my eyes to a better way of looking at music.

Keep at it, practice your bowing, relax and get the strokes as even and perfect as possible (my teacher was a Philharmonia player in London), walk round the room and just relax as much as possible when playing - even a muscle tensed in your foot will come through on the bow!

No brand, made in China, about 200 euros, the violin, the bow and the case.

Try to use the 4th finger instead of the A string, otherwise you will get a sudden spike. At the beginning (this one is just being a bit picky) you played an F natural instead of a sharp. Otherwise, not bad for a self taught person.

your good if your a self-taught.

you'd find it much easier if you pushed back your left wrist tho, it shouldn't touch your instrument, it will improve your vibrato aswell.

Good job. Here's some advice though to improve your musicianship, I would highly recommend working on your tone and intonation. You're intonation isn't terrible, but there are a few places where it could be better. Like some of the others said, it's a good and easy thing to use your 4th finger in replacement of an open string. I've been playing for about 15 years now, so hopefully some of the tips will help you.

You need to improve on vibrato, put dynamics in, play fourth finger instead of open strings and on this piece of music try playing it with a mute. I've played for 9 years now =] You're Real Gooooooood !!! :D

Good job! I'd like to make some small critiscisms though, your bow is nice and straight and close to the bridge, but you need to place your hand closer to the frog of the bow, also, dont be afraid to use vibrato! You were using the right technique just a bit stronger there on the movement. Good Job though! :D
