@lelolaiPR15 The one that is on the return outlet is called a Hydor Flow deflector, it just rotates using the return pressure to turn the gears giving a bit more random flow.
nice tank bro..i got 2 true perculas that are going to look like that when they get that size like yours. right now they are finger nail length just born a few weeks ago. check out my video if you want to see them..is that a korolia 1 or nano??? please let me know thanks
Thanks. It's about a year old now and starting to look really good. I'll post a new video of it in a day or so. It looks much different now. We are actually going to be moving all of the SPS to the newly set up 70 gallon and the rest of the livestock will be moving to a 20 long that I think has better dimensions for a reef tank. Long and shallow.
Thanks for the kind words, as for the levels 0, I rarely test Amm, trite and trate anymore though. Was doing it a few times a week but always 0 across the board so I do it now every couple of weeks just to save on test kit costs. I only test Cal, Alk/KH and Mag regularly these days.
They are Ricordea Florida. 2 types blue and green. They do alright in the tank but like most corals in these tanks would probably do better with stronger lighting. I had the other type called Ricordea Yuma and they did not do too well but are known to be a little more demanding on lighting and flow.
Stock light?

How well to Xenia tolerate such currents?
Cnidarious 3 years ago
They seem to be fine with the flow, I just don't point it right at them.
