I met Mary Joyner at a USATF convention in 1998 in Orlando, FL with her father Al when she was about 8 years old. I have a great photo taken with her mother FloJo from 1989 at UCLA during a celebrity track meet when she anchored a relay against Bill Cosby. The last time I saw FloJo she was in LA while she was pregnant with Mary. I do not think you will ever find a greater fan than me. I was in the stands at the 1984 LA Olympics watching her compete.
