dude.. i am here so that i can find the answer to my question on where we really came from.. i am not convinced by the answer given in this video because it contradicts biology..primate and human chromosomes spells 80 000 000 difference of genes and i am sure and convinced that we did not originate from primate. if we are the cousins of primate that would mean we came form 1 descendant and would mean the same chromosome structure. to make it short. primate and humans did not originate form one.

You can see every gradual step in our evolution from tree dwellers to homo sapiens in the fossil record! We still are primates! What do you mean by come from 1? @inats777 time that you begin to see change. Eventually neither species will see themselves as the same and either will not interbreed or mechanically cannot do it because they've changed so much! This documentary isn't made to explain the mechanism just display the beauty of the tree of life. @inats777 We are a development of mutation, chimpanzee or ape is born they decide to walk upright, because of this the skeletal structures alters. They teach there kids to walk upright, then there kids learn to walk upright; over generations and matings with other apes that walk upright. The skeleton of an ape develops to allow the ape to walk upright freely. If you see how apes walk upright they move side to side like a child when they begin to walk. Attenborough claims that for two thousand years Christians have believed in a literal interpretation of Genesis. This is completely unhistorical. Creationism is a modern phenomena arising mainly in the U.S. If you go back to the Patristics (Augustine, Gregory of Nyssa, et cetera) you will discover that they read the Genesis not as a scientific text but as a theological text.
