@wasantube I personally think that he is in a shock after he sees someone being shot in front of him. and then also realizes that he has a huge amount of money which belongs to a mafiaboss. it's that he has never lived something like this before (thats what I concluded from the film)

@wasantube yes that was awkard, but I think it was because he loved a girl for the first time. He's just a silent guy doing his job. But now has to deal with a lot of things.

@gangsterturk25 Well it might be because the film leave alot for interpretation but considered the situation of the driver 1. Why is he so reclusive? He seems like a vagabond or some sort and relocate a lot due to his outburst 2. The scene where he outburst to a garage owner, it' was like he's other person completely which suggest split personallity

@wasantube no he's not. It's because he's in a messed up situation. a situation he's never been in, because his job is to drive and not to kill. Guess it was his first time killing someone. so it's damn normal to sweat.

@RawbThatPunk The sound was amazing though. When Standard got shot during the robbery (after everyone got the shit startled out of them) I remember turning to my friend (one of the many times I did) and saying "Damn, the sound editing in this is great."

But still, I agree that Drive did get screwed over by the academy. I think Gosling should've got a nomination for Best Actor, Brooks for best supporting actor, Nicolas for best director, Best sound editing, and best picture.
