It is a content management system like wordpress. It basically is an easy way to create a website.

Mate... I have never, ever been so stressed when making a website.

I heard Joomla was good, so checked out a few of its sites, and though "Ohh nice"

But with the templates etc... i've gone half mad.. :(

I know what your talking about. I too am in the middle of looking for templates. There are still plenty of good free ones out there but paid ones are always better in this case.

Oh. Nice question. Yes I do. The only downside I found is finding a template(theme). It is very hard to find a really good template for free. But because you are very close to Chris Pirillo. You could always pick out a wordpress one and ask him to decode it to Joomla. Of course this video just goes through installation but so far my website is turning out pretty good. I also find it easier to use than wordpress.

Also if you are thinking of switching to joomla I recommend making a test site because if you are trying to learn certain things in joomla it might mess up your site if you do it wrong.
