I wanted to rescind my earlier comment about this show. I can see now that this is clearly a propaganda piece meant to incite more fear and division among Americans. It's not surprising now to learn that it was based on an Israeli show, knowing how much they dislike us AND Arabs. It also portrays the war on terror in a black and white, with "good guys" on one side and the "evil GENIUS villain" on the other.
Great series. And if there is anything this show is teaching the public, its that delusional lunatics exist on ALL sides, as evident with some of these completely insane comments.

The guy in this show played on the crime drama, "LIFE" on NBC, and he did a good job as well. I'll be watching just because of these two actors, and I'll see what goes on in this show. Might be good.

I wanted to rescind my earlier comment about this show. I can see now that this is clearly a propaganda piece meant to incite more fear and division among Americans. It's not surprising now to learn that it was based on an Israeli show, knowing how much they hate us AND Arabs. It also portrays the war on terror in a black and white, with "good guys" on one side and the "evil GENIUS villain" on the other.

@cohost4000 : Sometimes promos suck, and the show can be really good. Claire Danes is a pretty good actress herself. Check her work back when she was a teen on My So Called Life. The guy in this show played on the crime drama, "LIFE" on NBC, and he did a good job as well. I'll be watching just because of these two actors, and I'll see what goes on in this show. Might be good.

I love 24, I love Sleeper Cell (actually I love the 1st season and the last 2 episodes of the 2nd season), well I love suspenseful thrillers overall so I'm sure I'll love Homeland. Amazing cast (Claire Danes, Damian Lewis, Mandy Patinin)and crew (the writers, directors and music composer of 24 are involved)
