  • HBK all day

  • before there were cds, i used these video game themes to play with my wrestlers and bring them down the aisle

  • ill tell ya as a 12 year old kid, this was the shit, i loved wrestling and have all my life, my grandma couldnt afford much but i had all my wrestling stuff, i had all the gameboy games and snes games, and i remember sitting just listening to the themes on this game and the raw game for snes, i love wrestling theme music, i couldnt believe how good these sound, and still today it amazes me they got this from a 16bit cartridge

  • wwf royal rumble such a classic.

  • World Wrestling Federation>>>World Wrestling Entertainment

  • Thank God I remember living through the Attitude Era. Just wish I saw Bret/Owen Hart alngside with Stone Cold, Triple H and the Undertaker.

  • is it me or razor ramons' theme song slightly resembles stone colds theme song when he first appear in the wwf

  • I, like all other WWF/E legends jumped ship around 97/98, but the biggest change for me was when Bret Hart got screwed; when I heard he was in WCW, that's when I really watched it religiously.

  • wwf was great until it changed in 1998 and was the attitude era, i didnt like wrestling there from on even watching it for 6 years til 04, old wwf was better with the old logo, old wrestlers, old ring, mcmahon as commentator and news programs that was what wwf was about. now it sucks, get rid of wwe

  • @sidprogrammer What do you guys have against Attitude Era and the people who watched it as kids? Sure Vince screwed Bret, and the untimely demise of Owen, but the era was a turning point for WWF to make itself known in the entertainment industry. Granted, everything for me stopped when the PG Era reared its ugly face, but Bret screwed Vince, and he actually came back as well as The Rock and Steve Austin (for now). And we still have some wrestlers from way back when.

  • dibiases is interesting on this. nice variation

  • @driller007 Everybody's got a price! Everybody's gonna pay! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • I remember playing this back in the day,I always picked Yokozuna or The Undertaker (I actually dressed up for Halloween back in the day when I was younger.Great memories! R.I.P Yokozuna!

  • say hello to da bad guy

  • I miss this guys...

  • IM JUST A SEXY BOIIIIIII

  • R.I.P yOKOZUNA

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • The Narcissist Lex Luger and Razor Ramon where the best in this game, along with diesel

  • ted dibiase theme is awesome

  • RAZOR RAMON FA FA FA 4 LIFE!!!

  • YOKOZUNAAAAAAAAAA

  • seasonal residences>>>>>parts unknown!

  • HA! The Narcissist! That rook me back!

  • grandpa83, when I saw that roday, it rook me back roo!

  • glad you rook ra rime ro agree mrlemonbreath.

  • Let's see, Genesis version was Randy Savage, Undertaker, Bret Hart, Crush, Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Yokozuna and Lex Luger, plus Hulk Hogan, Papa Shango, IRS and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. IRS was teaming with DiBiase as Money Inc at the time so he has DiBiase's theme.

  • From: 'seasonal residences' LOL

  • i love shawn michaels theme in this game

    good old days

i wish they put nWo team in smackdown vs raw game

    that would be awosme

  • EVERYBODY´S GOT A PRICE

  • Anyone know what Flair's theme is in this game? It sounds so epic and appropriate for him. Mr. Perfect's theme was always my favorite; all of the themes in this game sounded great. Why didn't WWF/E ever use these versions, I wonder?

  • They've been able to use his usual theme ever since buying out WCW in 2001, but this game was made long before (92ish?) the buyout, so it features the Knockoff Version he used in WWF in those days.

  • DIBIASE!

    best theme!!

  • i like razor ramon's theme, it's very 90's, as bret's and hogan's are very 80's. listening to these old tunes takes you right back to that place in time. my favorite tunes are tatanka's and mr. perfect's

  • shawn was classic that time not right now

    he's old and boring ..

yokozona , taker , hbk , bret hart ,razor , luger

    etc

all these wrestler was back in that time

the old days :'( i miss it

  • Co-Sign! ^_^

  • man wrestling blows balls ever since austin and the rock left

  • I wanna be from "Seasonal Residences."

Beats the piss out of "Parts Unknown."

  • from 1:05 to 1:55 the best part of this video

  • Great memories......I fucking miss the WWF. Fuck the WWE.

  • @kungpowmurd3r WWF!!! and nWo !!! FUCK WWE!!

  • @kungpowmurd3r Do you miss the AWA?

  • flair's theme was cool

  • flair's theme on this game sounds better to me than his actual theme. for a long time i thought that that was his actual theme while he was in the wwf. but then, quite recently i saw wrestlemania 8, and saw that his theme was the same as before and after he was in the wwf. they must have had to change it on this game for legal reasons or something.

  • @Deanobucko917 This actually WAS his theme in the WWF in 1991-1992. It's the Wrestlemania 8 video that you saw that was changed. And yeah, I loved that version of it. Sort of a knock-off to his "usual" theme, but just as good.

  • WWF shits on that WWE crap

  • i miss the old shawn michaels just by looking at his pic you can tell how different he was back then HEEL, COCKY,and STRONGER Heartbreak kid shawn michaels one of the best of all time, too bad hes old now :(

  • The Genesis version totally owned the Snes version for Razor Ramons theme but Shawn Michaels theme on this sounds bad ass. I don't want to get into the whole arguement about which was the better console but I liked the Genesis entrance music versions a bit better for Royal Rumble and WWF Raw.

  • damn i miss dat dude razor ramon!!!

  • SNES has Flair, Mr. Perfect, Tatanka, Lex Luger and Yokozuna exclusively

Genesis has Papa Shango, Jim Duggan, Hulk Hogan, IRS, and The Model Rick Martel

  • I was thinking the exact same thing!!!

  • Wow- I owned the Sega version which didn't have Flair, Perfect or Tatanka.

Interesting that the Nes didn't have Hogan while the Genisis did. Interesting times then- 1992-1993.

  • I had the SEGA version too, I always used IRS.

  • Ric Flair weighs 239 lbs?

  • maybe because he wrestled then....not just a flabby douchebag....

  • tolles snes theme von ric flair könnte ich 100 mal hören^^. wwf das waren zeiten.

  • razor ramon has the best theme

  • com'on it's super nintendo; that's back in the days,lol

  • ok this game was made when, id like to see you do better during tht time

  • For your information smarty-pants. Back in the day, I made midi versions of two WWF theme songs and emailed them to one of the Acclaim guys, who's name escapes me, and he thought they were great. He offered to include my help in one of the next games but I would've had to go to Utah. I couldn't do it, at the time I was just a kid. (Wow, this sounds like bullshit, but assure you it's true.)

  • ur versions still wuldnt of been much better, all game music sounded like this

  • In all seriousness, you'd be surprise. The problem with the way they made the music was that they played the parts on a keyboard. What I did was write it out, note for note, on a virtual score-sheet. I'd listen to the real song and try to match it. I was capable of adjusting the way each note sounded. A lot of times they were playing the wrong notes. My way took a little longer but sounded much better. With music, the smallest change can make a big difference. Their deadlines were the problem.

  • Shawn Michael sounded great

  • Ah..The Bad Guy, The Heart Break Kid..and Hahahahaha Million Dollar Man.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • i just can picture hearing sherri singing this lol

  • Anyone remember when Sensational Sherri was the one singing his theme song "Sexy Boy"...god do I feel OLD...

  • Don't feel old, feel privileged to be a part of what many consider WWE's prime in the 90's.

    Thumbs up.

  • @psychowildchild totally agree

  • @psychowildchild well said

  • back suplex lol...

  • How is that "lol?" His finisher for a while after his 1992 heel turn was a cradle side suplex. It was a damn good move...dropped the poor suckers on their head at a high angle.

  • def,Rics the man..."In order to be the man...u have 2 beat the man" lol

  • lol yea,i know where ur coming from

  • BTW, Ric Flair rules! wooooo

I always liked to play as him. Plus his theme song is cool too.

  • looks like sweet chin music wasnt born yet lol...just imagine if a back suplex was still his finisher now a days lmao

  • He shoulda used it against Randy Orton when he wasn't allowed to use Sweet Chin Music.

He did use "Sweet Chin Music" in his Rocker days, but simply as a crescent kick/superkick.

Not many will remember Shawn as using his slingshot/teardrop suplex, but he did occasionally use it. Maybe those chose it because the superkick was a harder animation.

  • This game was GREAT back in the day. IYH for the Play Station was my personal fav. But who could forget this one. Yoko was great, Bret, Razor wish I could play this game again!!

  • You can download it from rom websites on the emulator ZSNES.

  • lol hbk didnt even have the superkick as his special yet...bret dominated during this era

  • Everybody's got a price for the Million Dollar Man, hahahhahahahahahahaha. Brings back a lot of great childhood memories. When I was a kid I used to play this game a lot, especially during the weekend, I'd wake up and the first thing that I did after brushing my teeth play this game and Raw as well.

  • shawn michales and his devistating "back suplex" lol

  • It was more devistating than a lot of finishers, Mitch...imagine being lifted at a high angle and then dropped on your head.

  • Yeah seriously Shawn was a heel here. And Ric was in the WWE here as a heel. Flair wrestled in WCW for a long time before he moved to WWE then back to WCW until WWE bought it. Now he wrestled at WWE for the longest until now when Shawn defeated him in his career threatening match which was held at wrestlemania 24.

  • HBK used to use the piledriver as his finisher sometimes too. He still does his piledriver rarely, usually to somebody on steel steps such as The Undertaker or Cena.

  • the narcissist aka Lex Luger's theme used to make me cry lol..i was only like 9-or 10 lmao

  • Haha Yes it does. Me too.

  • The SNES Version of this game is so much better and superior than the Sega Genesis version. I own both systems AND both versions of this game(The same goes for WWF Raw). The graphics, photos, sound quality and gameplay are far superior on the SNES. Especially the selections of wrestlers too.

  • You guys don't remember the storyline with Lex.

He had the running clothesline because of an angle that he had metal in his forearm, hence using an illegal weapon to finish his opponents off.

  • geez hbk even looked like a male stripper back then

  • lol at the kiddies not understanding why Shawn's finisher isn't the Sweet Chin Music.

  • i agree adam97

You have to like the money part.

    .

    xD

  • I think Flair was in WCW when this game came out.

  • At this time he was in WWF he was at that time when Taker was much of a heel.

  • My favorite theme is the Narcissist one because it reminds me of Lex Luger in the WWF days when he is the narcissist.

  • jesus, don't get me started on Running Forearm haha

  • god Shawn MIchael's special moves like a regular basic move in now days wrestling lol

  • Before he used the Superkick as the finisher, Michaels had the Teardrop (back) suplex. I wish HBK uses it against Flair at WM XXIV this Sunday for old times sake.

  • Yeah he's been wrestling since WCW now WCW went out of business after Vince bought it out when he had that "WWE invasion". That's when he changed WWF to WWE.

  • razor ramon was the shit !

  • how can i play this game

  • If you have a SNES, I'll sell you the game for $500.

  • Bret Hart and Tatanka

  • ted dibiase has probably the greatest theme in wrestling history

  • 100% agree! everybodys got a price!!

  • yes indeed!

  • me its macho man and razor ramon

  • so old michaels didnt even use superkick yet

  • He did, he' used it since The Rockers days.

  • haha and the funny thin is Shawn Michaels here used to be a heel.

  • i mean the beggening of razor ramons song

  • no its not just the begenning

  • razor ramons music is the same as dude loves

  • it woulda been the same as mick foley not dude love, he used different music for his characters, and foley's didnt use sirens

  • no way

  • Razor Ramon and Brett Hart were my guys!

  • lex luger has the stupidest theme music in this game

doesn't even match his character at all

  • SAHNE!!!^^

  • from this game... Razor Ramon, Randy Savage, HBK, Crush, Bret Hart, Mr. Perfect, Lex Luger, Ted Dibiase = nWo!!!!!!

  • Wow...I didn't even think of that.

    Astute observation...

  • i ment day

  • wow i still have this game to this thay

  • hbk finisher back suplex?

  • Yeah, or slingshot suplex. He only used it in a few matches. He should use it against Randy Orton... that'd be a surprise.

  • oh man that would be priceless. no one would see it coming like you said

  • Flair's WWF theme is impossible to find. It was sweet as hell.

  • Just watch 2001 Space Oddyssey it's in there

  • MEMORIES!!

  • to long

  • best wresler undertaker

  • shawn michaels is the best

  • I liked the Narcissist theme where can I find that?

  • WOOOOO! Awesome.

  • For this game, my favorite themes were always Ric Flair's, Razor Ramon's and Ted Dibiase's.

    They were all great though.

  • I wish I could find that Crush theme song at the start of this video on CD or at least good quality some where. I loved that theme song!

  • Sid left for WCW in 94/95? This game was released 92/93? I know because Shawn Michaels had the suplex in his early days.

  • Sid was gone within a month of WM8, that's April 1992

  • Woooo I loved this game

  • Man this game along with Raw on the SNES was the shit man. It beats other games hands down if you're a WWF fan. The best theme song was HBK's theme song and The Undertaker's theme song.

  • I remember playin this game in my cousin's house. It was pretty addicting lol.

  • The roster on this game was/is absolutely fantastic.

  • sounds better than the genesis music i think so

  • one word wooooo!!!!!

  • This game still gets played to death in my household, it was perfect at the time, then WWF Monday Night Raw came out and it was exactly the same (Updated a little actually) what a game!

  • I haven't play this game since I was 6 years old.

  • me and my friend would play this all the time. Loving the music. It shows how games and wreslting ahve gone so far.
