Don't be too confident about fixing the problems. Some of the problems that the Bush years have left us may be unrepairable. The mess is a lot worse than it looks on the surface. Quick action has prevented another great depression but we are likely in for many years of a weakened economy. A big part of the overhead in the providers is coding the information for the insurance companies. No two use the same coding methods and most offices have a full time staff just for doing the extra work this takes. Insurance companies cost us money and return nothing to the economy.
