  • Nice. However increasing the output power of the WRT54G will compromise throughput, due to the crappy WRT54G amplifier.

  • First off, I am glad to know that im not the only one that has modded my router with a fan and heatsink (but i used a real small heatsink i took off of a chip on an old motherboard). I have the same router as my main router (WRT54G running DD-WRT). This is really neat! Keep modding!!!

  • i digg chicks that hack and mod their routers , good vid

  • t bet u are a kid

  • @megasmart1337 I wish.

  • This rules so hard!

  • Very nice, but I recommend ordering a cheap set of fsb copper heat sinks from newegg for about $4.99us instead of the pennys but very creative. Also what kinda range are you getting?

  • @wifimonkey It easily covers my entire house and then some. I was able to go to the end of the block and still get about two bars of signal, so I'm imagining I could irradiate my own crops with it if I wanted to :)

  • you go girl...

  • lol @ the penny heatsink

it's been a long time since 4 cents would prove that useful. lol @ warrantee joke

  • thats one way to do it lol ^^ i was thinking of useing a old cb an tan on my linksys
