You did an outstanding job on this, and may I dare to say with the Moonlight Sonata as a soundbackround it hits even more home. The whole mood falls to the sad level this all is. You did great- and no I didnb't missunderstand. I see what you were trying to do- you did a greatr job showing both faces of war. there are no winners in any war, just loosers. thank you for making this video!

I have zero compassion for terrorists whether they be men, women or children who are raised to believe that somehow killing americans will be rewarded by some ficticious god they pray to in their desert waste land of a country. George W. Bush and his minions are who threw our boys into the fire in Iraq for his own selfserving bloodlust for what his daddy didn't do in the 1st war. Weapons of mass destruction? Fucking please!!!! muslims.......a god who rewards murder. real reward...virgins in hell
Makes me pray this country wakes up in time to elect another Ronald Reagan and let him post another George S. Patton into the world of these radical primates after seeing the Ft. Hood massacre and that faggot Obama's response, on Veteran's Day ...BUCK OFAMA!
My impression was not of an anti war video but merely that of showing how difficult it is for both sides of the fight. The chorus, "No bravery, only sadness" did not mean that the soldiers are not brave and committing themselves to our defense, but that there comes a point in every soldiers tour where the constant barrage of uncertainty brings them to wonder what home is like. I myself have had 3 relatives on tour in both Afghanistan and Iraq. You have to think about the mental aspect of this.
if it werent for US troops and allies, we would have terror-alerts every single day, they stop the terrorist, just to be there, THESE SOLDIERS ARE DYING FOR OUR FREEDOM! We are not dying for them, so don't speak bad about our warriors! if it werent for them, u would have a carbomb up in ur ass every day. AND SORRY FOR MY BAD LANGUAGE, JUST GETTING UPSET BY PEOPLE WHO ARE SAYING BAD ABOUT OUR SOLDIERS! PEACE OUT TO ALL FALLEN AND ALIVE SOLDERS!
OK, I watched the whole video per requesst. Good Hollywood stuff, but I wonder what it would look like if you used real footage. My guess is you don't even know what a real hero is!
How in the hell can you make a video like this. We are the men and women who defend your ass when you are too weak or scared to. then you come out with shit like this. How bout instead of me going back over there you take my spot your fucking pussy.
How about I change the video title instead, because it seems some people are clearly stupid enough to misread this video and comment before they read the description. Or even, dare I say, the reply to the previous comment which couldn't be more than two inches below this one.
@Jesuit24 kid you may not have known what you were doing at the time but you did portay US soldiers as a bunch of cowerds and I did read every inch of what you wrote and I thank you should remove this video becaus it affends anyone who has any love for this country of ours including me so pleas remove this video from youtube
@roadkill1234567890 I didn't know what I was doing at the time? So I made this video entirely by accident? I believe fully in encoding/decoding so I know messages and meanings between author and audience can have completely different interpretations, but this was my second ever video that was made with a lot of heart and soul AS A FANVIDEO TO A TV SHOW.
@roadkill1234567890 I'm tolerating the idiocy on both sides in this comment box since it's the internet and politics likes to rear its head anywhere it can, but I'm not removing a video just because it offends you or your sense of patriotism.
@roadkill1234567890 This is the internet afterall and if my intentions with this video WERE reversed and I did indeed infer some nasty message towards serving soldiers, I'd like to think they'd have harder skin than to have a fit over one video on Youtube. I'm confused however at how you've come to the conclusion that I hate American soldiers.
@roadkill1234567890 I could just about understand a misinterpretation of the lyrics when using No Bravery, but given the title change and even the audioswap, there isn't anything left but a series of clips from a TV show set to Moonlight Sonata.
@Jesuit24 Do not remove this video , I served 30 Years in The Best Army in The World and I come from the Best Fighters in the World , The Scots , and this shows that bravery is a two sided coin , War is run by Politicians for their gain and their backers not for freedom
this video makes me sick. they portray heros fighting and DYING for YOU as cowards. if you want to know what its like over there than watch the military channel and the interviews of men who were actually there. it is not like the video i should know i was there! i saw men die, and the men around me were not scared. we all CHOOSE to fight for YOU!!! so you shoul make another video, jesuit24, that honor not the men that fought there but the men that died there who you portrayed as cowards.
moron! don't base your views on the 'military' channel. And, if you really did fight, which I doubt, (but show utmost respect and sincere apologies if you did) then don't talk about men being not scared. thats bull. fear is natural.
This was the most over-exaggerated show ever. Still, showed the emotional side. God Bless the USA from France. Without you, the world would be under dictatorship and suffering, we love you!!
What America did in Iraq is not the first crime and will not be the last (Hiroshima, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Palestine .. and the long list) What americans did is a disgrace to humanity ...
You arent being fair, we can discuss the war in Vietnam. But Hiroshima, although a terrible tragedy which led to the death fo thousands of innocent civilians; ment that WW2 in the pacific ended in '45, and not in 1949. And thus saving perhaps million of lives.
Beside, I think alot of people is giving America a hard time.
When American intervene everyone gets upset
When America doesn't intervene everyone gets upset.
i ask you if your in command of an army and you had a choice of dropping a nuke or sacrifising hundreds of thousands of your soldiers trying to take an island which would you do and im british wha america did was bring peace to the world alot quicker than sending soldiers into japan vietnam they underestimated the enemy and when the bads outweighed the good they pulled out just like anyone would of done
actually the atomic bombs ended the war stopping the genocide that would have been an assault on Japan whihc by the ay both sides expected the fatalities to be in the millions on both sides
this video is as big a crockj of shit as the series that lent the video clips
Your spouting propaganda on the poeple that defend your freedom, the very freedom of speech you use against these soldiers. Its people like you that need to be shot.
I know what it means to be a soldier and let me tell u what it is and why we do it. when your out there and the fighting starts, it doesnt matter about whos right or whos wrong, it doesnt matter whos war your fighting and for what reason, what does matter is the guy standing next to you. making sure he gets home just as safe as you do, cause when your out there thats all that matters. sure we join for our country and our freedom, but we stay for our brothers.
I love you fucking idiots and your chant, "it's all about oil"!!! Of course it is...and oil is in the natioanl interest which is why we go to war. Without oil our economy, and the economy of almost any civilzed nation, would totally fail. China can't operate without oil, nor Russia, nor any of Europe, nor the USA...those cowards just let us do their fighting for them...you dumbasses!!!!
dude if it was about oil we would have taken it as soon as we got there. They couldn't have stopped us. We're not there for oil, otherwise we wouldn't be there. We're there to help those who can't help themselves..and personally I, nor any other soldier, gives a FUCK what you think.
Hi, I like so much this song, and the video is so emotional ! But I don't know if it's a real movie, or if it's just the clip of this song. If somebody can answer me about what's the title of this movie, it would be very nice ! ^^ thanks !
Salut, j'adore cette musique, et la vidéo est super émouvante. Mais je sais pas si c'est un vrai film ou est ce que c'est juste le clip de la musique. si qualqu'un peut me répondre à propos du nom du film, ça serait super sympas ! Merci !
Yay for Britain pulling out of the Iraqi oil race. It makes sense to stop wasting away millions in this economic climate. While a lot of people profess military intervention has done a lot of good (which I'm sure it has, even if the steps to get it were uncalled for) home politics should always win out in favour of foriegn policy. What I still don't get though is the need for constant news reports on dead soldiers. Sympathies et al but dying for your country is kinda in the job description.
You are such a brainwashed and uneducated idiot "colton11165". I probably know more about your country and your history then you.
You can say whatever you want and bring some shitty stories with no facts but you cannot make me think that what you are doing in Iraq and around the world. I am just sorry for your boys as they are dieing for nothing and thats what my first comment was all about
Only one question? Should I cry because your soldiers are dieing in the country that is thousands of miles away from USA? Its not like you have war in your own country, you sent those young and brave boys to fight in the place where you leaders don't even know to find on the map. Why should I feel sorry for you? It is your leaders! Your war! But not your right and your land!
haha you sound like you know what the fuck your talking about, well smart ass, look in to some books or for fuck sace news, you should know why were down there, and no its not just cuz of the freedom, lots more, and for pet sake, i mean if you don't like the war, i understand, but don't say shit about our boys down there kk, its not there problem what going on, there in there to do your job, so just dont disrespect our boys aight
shut up just to let you know we take pride in our country enough to die for it thats more than i can say about you and by the way bush was in the gulf war and deasert storm so learn what the hell your talking ABOUT BEFORE YOU START TALKING SHIT.
.....Because I can tell you that this was had nothing to do with weapons of mass destruction, or with Saddam. It was all about the interest of the US, and about oil. And sorry for making such a very political comment. It was just getting out of me after I watched this vid - I have to tell you that you made a wonderful job with it, it really makes people think...
I'm not American. nor Iraqi. But I experienced war. Very close. And I can say, that there was less bravery there. Come on, I'm from Serbia, you know guys what kind of weapons Serbia has? 40 years old soviet ones. We had no chance against the bombards, and the whole thing was because of an idiot politician. But Iraq was quite another story. There were serious attacks and more deaths than here. And I tell you something: American soldiers don't know the reason what they're fighting for....
your a fucking horrible person... your not a american. how dare you call MY brothers in arms terrorists you think we chose to go to this war, we got sent there, we chose to defend our country...sadly people like you get to live under the blanket of safety we provide but then you question how we provide that safety. how dare you... be grateful
Hmmm... You call yourself big kill wolf yet I don't call YOU a fucking horrible person. Yes, I do say that people who bomb apartment buildings, people who kick in the doors of private homes in the middle of the night, who humiliate people, who imprison people without cause, etc, etc.... these are terrorists. You say you didn't choose to go, that you "got sent there". That tells me you were more frightened of the consequences of refusing to go than of going. So those who refuse are brave, right?
no the soldiers arent terrorists cause they have to kick in doors at night, its tactics, tactics that have won wars since the rovlutionary. even the generals can not stop orders for the one in the offices that have never seen combat, war, you dont get to see when we are envited to the iraqi peoples homes. when they cook for us, and actually wave at us cause they missed us since a year ago. a iraqi girl cried when my friend had to leave a house after patrol because she had a crush on him
you dont see why we have to kick in doors because if we knocked, the terrorists would shoot right through it and kill my brothers, so we have to kick it in and im not scared to fight im not scared to be in iraqi again and again im scared to have to watch my brothers die and americans not care because america has lost the understanding of the word patriotism. just cause you wave a flag doesnt mean your patriot and you should never avoid you countries call i wonder if u could have been jason dunham
Patriotism can have many meanings. "My country, right or wrong" is infamous. "My country is always right" is just absurd. My definition is something like "I love my country, and when she goes wrong we need to correct her." You're mistaken to say Americans don't care. Some of us care very much. That's why we want to end this illegal invasion and occupation of a country that was never a threat. For the Iraqis, for our own conscience, and for the American troops. America is better than this.
ok im not the fighting type but shas1814 we r there bcuz we took down a dicator who was a serious threat sadaam and his party were the only kind of government were keeping the stability there just think what would happen if americas government collasped it would chaos if we left there wouldnt be much of an iraq anymore
Well, I'm not really into political wrangles either, but the fact is that we are there because they had weapons of mass destruction. Oh, no, they didn't. Because of 9-11? But Iraq was not connected to that at all. To bring democracy... at gun point? So the women could wear Levis jeans? These all turned out to be LIES. All 16 of the US intelligence agencies told George that Iraq presented "no imminent threat to the USA"! So it was oil after all. That and the fact that GWB wanted to be a hero.
i agree we shouldnt be there really i want them home they r fighting 4 no good reason we should have never took down sadaam he wasnt a serious threat at least not yet but bcuz we did that we now hav to be an army trained to stop convetional war turned into policemen i love my country but we really fucked up but hey who doesnt make mistakes
exactly..they say they want to give iraqis freedom yet how many iraqis do u see on tv last time i checked freedom involved letting people have freedom of speech which is one of the most important freedoms out there ..iraqis who have anything to do with the war and are against it are not allowed on tv that is not freedom.
you chose to go to war even if its right or wrong...if people who where wrong in the 1st place openly admitted they where wrong then there wouldnt be a war in the 1st place. the war in iraq has nothing to do with defending your country..how does going to other countries to take there resources forcefully make your country safe? if china where to forcefully say they wanted your resources in the usa yud call them terrorsts and u know it.
We have ongoing contracts with Iraq and Iran for oil that don't expire for another 20 years so we have the legal right to be there for our oil and we are not calling them terrorist we are calling alquida terrorists, so get educated on the war before you start talking shit
What resources have we taken? Only just recently has there been an INTERNATIONAL group of commercial oil companies making a deal with Iraq for their oil. We have had to provide more resources to the Iraqi govt and military. We have modernized their military, supplied new vehicles for their government and military. Besides that, we have been extensively training their military and police to deal with insurgent attacks in their own country.
theyve lost it..if u say its ok to kill people cause theyre in another continent and have been shown as terrosits in movies and want some oil and dont ask questions as to why exactly your fighting to the commanders your a hero..if u say before they blow someones brains out if they know why theyre fighting why the other sides views are never heard and they cant answer( not 1 soldier ive come across has ever said a reason other than the usual freedom reason) they just get angry.
listen to the stuff that has been going on for fuckign years you dumb shit, i mean, if you dont like the fact why were there, then just STFU i mean, you dont have to comment either, i am, cuz i think your comment is so dumb, and cuz the soldier never want to say the reason, and get angry, cuz you should know why it is so, no not just BECAUSE of freedom, and i am not saying this ass a offens to you, i am jsut saying is, dont bother other ppl with stupid comments,
we don't like talking about why we kill most of us end up dead ourselves by our own guns for what we've done i have been to iraq 3 times have 5 purple hearts and i've seen the jungles of vietnam so before you start badmouthing our rights to kill as soldiers get a taste of it yourself
film dont think he didnt do anything. all soldiers do wot they are told. blunt WAS in kosovo but u never know wot he did. he mite have tried. this is his personal experience. wot he saw and done.
Blunt was there to protect people in Kosovo, but just stood by and let them be taken away to be murdered in cold blood. And then he sings about no bravery, and makes millions out of the song. All words and no actions.
Lots of good comments. It's a shame though that you used a powerfull song written by a former British ooficer about his experiences of the results of mass ethnic cleansing in Kosovo by a bucn of proper war criminals to decry a, for the vast majority, proffesional army who generally do their best to prevent just that sort of action. Ive worked with the Yanks in Afgahn and they're not as heartless as it seems.
This video and song don't fit. Go put this song somewhere else. You do what you have to do in a war. If you have to fire into a car thats speeding towards you you do it. Don't you find it odd that they would be speeding towards you if they had nothing to hide.
hey war is war it's real sad what we do to each other but it's gonna keep happening until who knows prob way after we all die and i know it's wrong for are troops to kill some civilian but they have there orders if theres a check point and a speeding car is coming at u your gonna think it's an I.E.D and they have there orders until your out there bored and scared shit less to think when or if your gonna die u don't know i have lots of friends over there that tell me this same thing every week .
war has been in human existance since the beginning of the human race u dont gotta be all emotional and shit... anyways this isnt really a war its more of a protection for innocent people from other countries in themselves its really messed up
This isn't a war... War is total, civilians and military personal of two countries both being targets and both dying... American civilians aren't dying en-masse, and civilians aren't legitimate targets, and we have no country to attack, only 'terrorism' (Or from their perspective freedom fighters)...
The existence of war doesn't justify, war is only justifiable in defense, all countries are potential preemptive targets, preemptive logic causes war, and its idiotic, that or corporations...
Only congress can approve wars, this is a police action, not a war... That's a fact, if you think otherwise your taking into bullshit propaganda... Aside from congress having to declare it a war, all the things I defined above also make it a war... Unless your a civilian in America at risk of dieing due to this war (And there's no such thing), its not a war, all the current living American civilians have never experienced true war...
So you're saying, unless there's Americans in threat of dying for this, then it's not a war? What about all the soldiers over there, and the ones here about to go? OKay, so you answer: civilian. Soldiers are just civilians with a different job than most.
It might not be a war on paper, but in the hearts of the people who're dying for it, and the people who're loosing loved ones for it, it's war.
Its still not much of a war my friend... To be justified we should be in Pakistan... Or if we want to stop the spread of radical Islam we should be in Iran... Technically speaking of all the countries to invade in the Middle East Iraq was the worst tactically, politically, and economically... However, Dessert Storm was still fresh in citizens minds, and our politicians had corporate interests in Iraq, and had been looking for an excuse since Clinton to attack them. 9/11 was our fake excuse.
Forget technically, tactically, politically, and economically. Forget justification. Stop thinking like a scientist and use your heart.
No matter what caused this, whatever the reason, the outcome, the intent, there's people, innocent people from all the countries involved, dying.
I agree with you, I do, but don't just call it 'police action' or whatever. That's just plain disrespectful. The truth of it, the very plainest truth, is that this is a war.
Very well, we'll call it a 'war' for intrinsic reasons... For technical reasons we'll call it an unjustified, corporate sponsored and promoted, corrupted sign of incompetent American leadership, police action...
no one can say anything about this conflict in iraq unless they've been there, and to say such things as "Its still not much of a war my friend" is outrageous. ive fought in iraq, and am about to fight again. i lost 171 of my brothers while i was there. if you tell them its not a war, they would say otherwise.
Bullshit. This war has direct effects on the economy of the world. America is showing the political signs of falling into the next great depression. We have a lunatic as a president. Corporations are off-shoring all the jobs. Unemployment is skyrocketing. Millions are dying. You don't get to use the personal card on this one my friend, this is a global issue and I'm getting sick of this bullshit rhetoric, this is corporate profiteering and your as subject to military propaganda as anyone else.
okay, well why the hell dont you try and do something about it then? i never said it didnt have a negative impact on other ppl around the world either. maybe you should reqad my comment again and reply with and intelligent answer.
It's literally not a war, by definition, as I've said from the beginning, I'm not saying anything that's not true. Also you sad I can't say anything about it unless I've been there. If personal experience were a requirement for all political decisions wed be living in a Monarchy right now because we couldnt justify our opinions being valid. Everything I said in my comment was legitimate, perhaps harsh and even disrespectful, but legitimate. I do support the troops with care packages weekly BTW.
hey i am from australia what you are saying is bull shit you are saying that it can only be a war if the american congress says it is it is a war war is when 2 sides start killing eachother if you passed grade 4 you would know that and ask any soldier that has been there there are civilians getting killed from both sides cause remember alot of builders and that kind of people have been sent over there to help rebuild iraq and all those places
Wow, I have never seen so many pages of comments for a war video without people randomly screaming "The US is evil." I mean, almost two ENTIRE pages without it. I'm amazed. Anyway, a deep video with a deep song. Great job.
I completly agree with you its amazing to see so many comments of people talking so much sense. They are just doing their job and no matter how much people want peace there will always be something going on in the world, It is just a dream to live in complete peace with every1 its never goin to happen. So we mite aswell live with war atleast in war people are trying to make things better for the country and the world .this is definatly one of my favourite videos on here by far
The human is the catalyst. As Einstein said "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones". We'll always kill each other, the means are simply facade matter. It's simply human nature. (I noticed wtf136 removed his comment).
The fact is, people have to die in war. Its a sad truth, but thats what changes things, not the war itself necessarily. Its the sacrifice that changes the world. The fact is, cold or not. When you look down the scope of a rifle and you can look into a mans eyes, its no more or less personal. War is war, nothing will ever change. Just how efficiently we kill. A cold weapon doesnt exist, someone has to kill someone. Rather a trigger pull, push of a button, or the simple swing of a sword.
So very true, but we can always stop what is in our nature that is what makes us human... The ability to adapt outside of our "human" nature. At less that is from my experience. I'm just making the point that most of the time it is not the "enemies soldiers" that die it is the "civilians"... from the weapons you use can make the difference. "We" went out of our way to kill not only the "ideal" of war in peoples' minds but the people that we are trying to "help".
I do see what your saying. I think when it comes down to it this is a discussion between a pessimist (decisively me lol) and an optimistic. I have always seen the evil in people, in my view hate and compassion are the most basic foundations in human nature. One can not exist without the other. No compassion without loss; not life without death. The death of civilians is a sad and often unavoidable in war. Especially in a war in which there is no telling who is the enemy.
"One can not exist without the other. No compassion without loss; not* life without death"
-Niewoehner8
*nor
"True" pessimists and optimistics are rare to find... from my experience the human race usually has a dual mindset.
I missed "Over There" when it ran for it's 4 month runtime. FX warned its viewers that Over There is: "...TV's most controversial series." lol That's what they say for 50% of their shows.
Thanks haha, i was tired when i wrote it. It was an awesome series, but of course who wants people to see another more realistic perspective of the war in Iraq? Ugh, ignorance is a disease.
In my opinion all but "cold" weapons should be banned... and hopefully even that may not change the way people would view war. Also I don't see the difference between a mother eagle defending herself or her young from predators then the USA government defending her people and other nations' people from wrong-minded individuals.
Cold weapon = any weapon that involve no catalyst to be used. If we could only use cold weapons there would be no DU rounds, ICBMs, mines, or tanks. It would make war personal to the point were none would think about doing it...hopefully...
you think that people wouldnt fight a war cause it is personal have you heard about ww1 and ww2 they were personal they were talking to each other during cess fires you dont know what you are talking about
Making a point: Is it "EASER" personal to slit a person's throat thinking (and be wrong that) they belongs to one of the 40+ terrorists groups with your ka-bar, than to set behind a sniper rifle and bait them with parts to a IED (that they were going to take to a Coalition Check Point for disposal) so they can get in your sights so "you" can shoot them in the back?
And last-time I checked there was no ceasefires in the war on terrorism.
We aren't fighting in WWII any more, we are fighting in what may be WWIII. We aren't fighting in trenches, we fighting in peoples' homes. I know what I'm talking about. I was trying to say that if you change the weapons/tactics you fight with the more or less personal it becomes and less wars will be waged. <That is hopefully.
But which is "easer" for you to do: press a red button and kill millions of people you know nothing about or being in the fielded with your F88 Austeyr "pacifying" someone that you know was about to harm others? Is it less personal if you press a red button?
Would it stop some wars if it was more personal? My rants are just wishful thinking by the way. lol
you have a good point but the thing that starts wars is thwe fact that people get angry with eachother then one side says f u the the other side retaliates with like alerting all there military forces and then one person fires a shot and then the war starts thats the way things happen even if they are mates they are on oposite sides it is a crap world we live in but untill we all unit under one flag and one name we will always have wars and conflicks and all that shit it is the world we live in.
Facts about Depleted Uranium (DU) has seen many applications in both military and civilian fields. From packing between sheets of steel armor plate in late-production M1A2 Abrams, and as shielding material for other radioactive material. DU rounds are used manly in anti-personnel/materiel by most militaries and is legal to use as such weapon. The International Coalition to Ban Uranium Weapons and some European states tried to ban DU weapons but both France and Britain rejected calls for the ban.
Who are you wtf136? Depleted uranium rounds are the most used and recent developed round used by the military. The reason we use depleted uranium is because of the massive kinetic energy created by the projectile. The round is an armor-piercing incendiary. Just take a look at your mount on the Bradly. Consider the sabot round alone. Fired through an apc or any vehicle for that matter, creates a small hole, in which the kinetic energy literally rips the crew through that little hole.
And riyun72 the reason they are depleted uranium is because THEY ARE DEPLETED they poison nothing. Your ignorant DU rounds are just that radioactively depleted rounds. That and we dont use many depleted uranium rounds anymore. We mainly use water rounds so just shut up please.
Look if you have not been do not talk. You dont know the bolt of a gun from the tip of your dick so shut up please. Take the freedom that I myself and many marines like me have sacrificed many things to give you. And not just Marines either. The army, air force, and coast guard has taken part even the british royal marines and airforce have fought so just sit back and say thank you or just shut up.
war is and it still the same, only soldiers can talk about it, its a fuckung job, but no body is perfect, i miss my guys, friends that i meet here in europe, however, guys try to come home alive, i love and i miss you all...
Going to Irak was a big mistake. Yes Saddam was a terrible dictator tha's totally true but americans can't impose their vision of "democracy" to all the world.
The think which is strange is that everywhere they go they create even more problems :-( because they think on their own interest before the others.
some people are ignorant..like the guy below puuting the US down like that shame on you if you are american or live in america. I spent 14mnths out in Iraq, and we did help lots of people out there and i mean LOTS of people. People who lived in fear during saddam's reign of terror of his own people. Remember Riyun "evil will prevail if good men do nothing". If we just sit here and let Hate breed in young minds there will be more blood american and non american alike...so stop acting like a child
Do Americans realise how much people of the world are fed up with their self deluded, self indulgent "oh we are attacked by so many" we are the police of the world , fucking hoorah BS? Fuck, you kill so many people and always find a way to justify it. The highway of death in the 1st gulf war killed many thousand more people than 911 but where are the politicians and commanders standing trial for that?!
Its not our fault that the Al Qaeda ppl bomb us, if we dont declared war, they will kill other ppl... so its not BS... btw fuck off dont diss americans >.o
You think its as simply US being attacked for no reason? My god!! You make no connection between US foreign policy and actions taken by your government and Military and attacks on your country. This is not Pearl Habour any more, your country invades and bullies alot of other nations. Best you realise that soon.
Shuttup123* Amen to that.... Riyun72 is probley a cathloic school girl who never got picked for a prom queen so he taking it out on the US LMAO anyway Once we get ride of AL Qaeda the job would almost be done....oh PS to all terriost who reads this FUCK YOU LOL
Gunblade soldiers are young men in there 20's and they are scared man. But they risk their life for us the civilians. jesus when im wearing my uniform im an ambassador for the swedish armed forces i have to give up seats on busses and trains for them. I wouldnt like to hear shit being sad about my unit because of an accident. Thats all it was a split second misstake man.
Basic stuff people Sadam was in power as long as the powers that be wanted him there. All this could have been avoided.Have a dig around and look beyond TV, newspapers and the like. assistir a alguns episodios de "over there", tipo "follow the Money" , para quem gosta dos filmes de guerra, não vai se decepcionar, tem o sargento experiente bom de briga, o soldado intelectual, o violento, o pensador, paralelamente a ação no Iraque, tem a volta dos feridos para casa.
Imperdivel para os "guerreiros".

How about I change the video title instead, because it seems some people are clearly stupid enough to misread this video and comment before they read the description. Or even, dare I say, the reply to the previous comment which couldn't be more than two inches below this one.

@Jesuit24 kid you may not have known what you were doing at the time but you did portay US soldiers as a bunch of cowerds and I did read every inch of what you wrote and I thank you should remove this video becaus it affends anyone who has any love for this country of ours including me so pleas remove this video from youtube
roadkill1234567890 1 year ago
@roadkill1234567890 I didn't know what I was doing at the time? So I made this video entirely by accident? I believe fully in encoding/decoding so I know messages and meanings between author and audience can have completely different interpretations, but this was my second ever video that was made with a lot of heart and soul AS A FANVIDEO TO A TV SHOW.
Jesuit24 1 year ago
@roadkill1234567890 I'm tolerating the idiocy on both sides in this comment box since it's the internet and politics likes to rear its head anywhere it can, but I'm not removing a video just because it offends you or your sense of patriotism.
Jesuit24 1 year ago
@roadkill1234567890 This is the internet afterall and if my intentions with this video WERE reversed and I did indeed infer some nasty message towards serving soldiers, I'd like to think they'd have harder skin than to have a fit over one video on Youtube. I'm confused however at how you've come to the conclusion that I hate American soldiers.
Jesuit24 1 year ago
@roadkill1234567890 I could just about understand a misinterpretation of the lyrics when using No Bravery, but given the title change and even the audioswap, there isn't anything left but a series of clips from a TV show set to Moonlight Sonata.
Jesuit24 1 year ago

Try watching it again instead. Everyone sees the title of the video, jumps to conclusions and doesn't bothering watching the video. Well done.

moron! don't base your views on the 'military' channel. And, if you really did fight, which I doubt, (but show utmost respect and sincere apologies if you did) then don't talk about men being not scared. thats bull. fear is natural.

What America did in Iraq is not the first crime and will not be the last (Hiroshima, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Palestine .. and the long list) What americans did is a disgrace to humanity ...
kadoshka 2 years ago
You arent being fair, we can discuss the war in Vietnam. But Hiroshima, although a terrible tragedy which led to the death fo thousands of innocent civilians; ment that WW2 in the pacific ended in '45, and not in 1949. And thus saving perhaps million of lives.
Beside, I think alot of people is giving America a hard time.
When American intervene everyone gets upset
When America doesn't intervene everyone gets upset.
Like Somalia in 1993
And Rwanda in 1994
PhilipDK5800 2 years ago 2
They intervene at the wrong times,
and miss the right chances to intervene.
ie. WW2
If U.S had joined earlier, the Axis may have fallen sooner, and the Japanese Empire sooner as well.

Jesuit24 2 years ago
You are such a brainwashed and uneducated idiot "colton11165". I probably know more about your country and your history then you.

Only one question? Should I cry because your soldiers are dieing in the country that is thousands of miles away from USA? I'm not American. nor Iraqi. But I experienced war. Very close. And I can say, that there was less bravery there. Come on, I'm from Serbia, you know guys what kind of weapons Serbia has? 40 years old soviet ones. We had no chance against the bombards, and the whole thing was because of an idiot politician. But Iraq was quite another story. There were serious attacks and more deaths than here. And I tell you something: American soldiers don't know the reason what they're fighting for....

bigkillwolf 3 years ago
shas1814 3 years ago
I must add this, big kill wolf-
My original comment did NOT call the soldiers 'terrorists'.
I repeat, "America has become the terrorist.."
The politicians, the soldiers,
and the public who allows this to happen are all part of it.
To go or to refuse is a choice, for sure,
but 'we the people' should not put them in that position.
Also, you're making several incorrect assumptions about me. You don't know what wars I have refused to fight in, nor the price I paid for my choice.
Peace to you
shas1814 3 years ago
no the soldiers arent terrorists cause they have to kick in doors at night, its tactics, tactics that have won wars since the rovlutionary. even the generals can not stop orders for the one in the offices that have never seen combat, war, you dont get to see when we are envited to the iraqi peoples homes. when they cook for us, and actually wave at us cause they missed us since a year ago. a iraqi girl cried when my friend had to leave a house after patrol because she had a crush on him
bigkillwolf 3 years ago
you dont see why we have to kick in doors because if we knocked, the terrorists would shoot right through it and kill my brothers, so we have to kick it in and im not scared to fight im not scared to be in iraqi again and again im scared to have to watch my brothers die and americans not care because america has lost the understanding of the word patriotism. just cause you wave a flag doesnt mean your patriot and you should never avoid you countries call i wonder if u could have been jason dunham

shas1814 3 years ago
exactly..they say they want to give iraqis freedom yet how many iraqis do u see on tv last time i checked freedom involved letting people have freedom of speech which is one of the most important freedoms out there ..iraqis who have anything to do with the war and are against it are not allowed on tv that is not freedom.
bestvideoiseen 2 years ago
you chose to go to war even if its right or wrong...if people who where wrong in the 1st place openly admitted they where wrong then there wouldnt be a war in the 1st place. the war in iraq has nothing to do with defending your country..how does going to other countries to take there resources forcefully make your country safe? if china where to forcefully say they wanted your resources in the usa yud call them terrorsts and u know it.
bestvideoiseen 2 years ago 3
We have ongoing contracts with Iraq and Iran for oil that don't expire for another 20 years so we have the legal right to be there for our oil and we are not calling them terrorist we are calling alquida terrorists, so get educated on the war before you start talking shit
colton11165 2 years ago
What resources have we taken? Only just recently has there been an INTERNATIONAL group of commercial oil companies making a deal with Iraq for their oil. We have had to provide more resources to the Iraqi govt and military. We have modernized their military, supplied new vehicles for their government and military. Besides that, we have been extensively training their military and police to deal with insurgent attacks in their own country.
gadget445 2 years ago
theyve lost it..if u say its ok to kill people cause theyre in another continent and have been shown as terrosits in movies and want some oil and dont ask questions as to why exactly your fighting to the commanders your a hero..if u say before they blow someones brains out if they know why theyre fighting why the other sides views are never heard and they cant answer( not 1 soldier ive come across has ever said a reason other than the usual freedom reason) they just get angry.
bestvideoiseen 2 years ago 5
listen to the stuff that has been going on for fuckign years you dumb shit, i mean, if you dont like the fact why were there, then just STFU i mean, you dont have to comment either, i am, cuz i think your comment is so dumb, and cuz the soldier never want to say the reason, and get angry, cuz you should know why it is so, no not just BECAUSE of freedom, and i am not saying this ass a offens to you, i am jsut saying is, dont bother other ppl with stupid comments,

Daharen 3 years ago
there was a war, many people still consider it a war a (war against terrorism)... that's what nbc said
Lavitz00 3 years ago
Only congress can approve wars, this is a police action, not a war... That's a fact, if you think otherwise your taking into bullshit propaganda... Aside from congress having to declare it a war, all the things I defined above also make it a war... Unless your a civilian in America at risk of dieing due to this war (And there's no such thing), its not a war, all the current living American civilians have never experienced true war...
Daharen 3 years ago
ill experiance it in 2 years...
Lavitz00 3 years ago
So you're saying, unless there's Americans in threat of dying for this, then it's not a war? What about all the soldiers over there, and the ones here about to go? OKay, so you answer: civilian. Soldiers are just civilians with a different job than most.
It might not be a war on paper, but in the hearts of the people who're dying for it, and the people who're loosing loved ones for it, it's war.
sablemiyako 3 years ago
Its still not much of a war my friend... To be justified we should be in Pakistan... Or if we want to stop the spread of radical Islam we should be in Iran... Technically speaking of all the countries to invade in the Middle East Iraq was the worst tactically, politically, and economically... However, Dessert Storm was still fresh in citizens minds, and our politicians had corporate interests in Iraq, and had been looking for an excuse since Clinton to attack them. 9/11 was our fake excuse.
Daharen 3 years ago
Forget technically, tactically, politically, and economically. Forget justification. Stop thinking like a scientist and use your heart.
No matter what caused this, whatever the reason, the outcome, the intent, there's people, innocent people from all the countries involved, dying.
I agree with you, I do, but don't just call it 'police action' or whatever. That's just plain disrespectful. The truth of it, the very plainest truth, is that this is a war.
sablemiyako 3 years ago
Very well, we'll call it a 'war' for intrinsic reasons... For technical reasons we'll call it an unjustified, corporate sponsored and promoted, corrupted sign of incompetent American leadership, police action...
Daharen 3 years ago
Agreed.

no one can say anything about this conflict in iraq unless they've been there, and to say such things as "Its still not much of a war my friend" is outrageous. ive fought in iraq, and am about to fight again. i lost 171 of my brothers while i was there. if you tell them its not a war, they would say otherwise.

Bullshit. This war has direct effects on the economy of the world. America is showing the political signs of falling into the next great depression. We have a lunatic as a president. Corporations are off-shoring all the jobs. Unemployment is skyrocketing. Millions are dying.

Niewoehner8 3 years ago 2

Niewoehner8 3 years ago
Great video by the way.
In my opinion all but "cold" weapons should be banned... and hopefully even that may not change the way people would view war. Also I don't see the difference between a mother eagle defending herself or her young from predators then the USA government defending her people and other nations' people from wrong-minded individuals.

Cold?
daemonk756890 3 years ago 2
Cold weapon = any weapon that involve no catalyst to be used. If we could only use cold weapons there would be no DU rounds, ICBMs, mines, or tanks. It would make war personal to the point were none would think about doing it...hopefully...
Psalms01 3 years ago
ah ok, well I feel that world may be a long time coming unfortunately
daemonk756890 3 years ago 2
you think that people wouldnt fight a war cause it is personal have you heard about ww1 and ww2 they were personal they were talking to each other during cess fires you dont know what you are talking about
armycadet1234 3 years ago
Making a point: Is it "EASER" personal to slit a person's throat thinking (and be wrong that) they belongs to one of the 40+ terrorists groups with your ka-bar, than to set behind a sniper rifle and bait them with parts to a IED (that they were going to take to a Coalition Check Point for disposal) so they can get in your sights so "you" can shoot them in the back?
And last-time I checked there was no ceasefires in the war on terrorism.
Psalms01 3 years ago
We aren't fighting in WWII any more, we are fighting in what may be WWIII. We aren't fighting in trenches, we fighting in peoples' homes. I know what I'm talking about. I was trying to say that if you change the weapons/tactics you fight with the more or less personal it becomes and less wars will be waged. <That is hopefully.
Psalms01 3 years ago
ok thats cool but i just thaught you were saying that if we all got to know each other we wouldnt fight each other
cause i know that that is not the case
armycadet1234 3 years ago
But which is "easer" for you to do: press a red button and kill millions of people you know nothing about or being in the fielded with your F88 Austeyr "pacifying" someone that you know was about to harm others? Is it less personal if you press a red button?
Would it stop some wars if it was more personal? My rants are just wishful thinking by the way. lol
Psalms01 3 years ago
you have a good point but the thing that starts wars is thwe fact that people get angry with eachother then one side says f u the the other side retaliates with like alerting all there military forces and then one person fires a shot and then the war starts thats the way things happen even if they are mates they are on oposite sides it is a crap world we live in but untill we all unit under one flag and one name we will always have wars and conflicks and all that shit it is the world we live in.

Psalms01 3 years ago
And wtf136,I highly suggest you do some studying. It's important to know not only how to kill as a soldier, but how your killing as well.
Niewoehner8 3 years ago

We mainly use water rounds so just shut up please.
wtf136 3 years ago
Look if you have not been do not talk. You dont know the bolt of a gun from the tip of your dick so shut up please. Take the freedom that I myself and many marines like me have sacrificed many things to give you. And not just Marines either. The army, air force, and coast guard has taken part even the british royal marines and airforce have fought so just sit back and say thank you or just shut up.

Going to Irak was a big mistake. Yes Saddam was a terrible dictator tha's totally true but americans can't impose their vision of "democracy" to all the world.
The think which is strange is that everywhere they go they create even more problems :-( because they think on their own interest before the others.
But i hope soldiers will go back home safety
karg78 3 years ago
we didnt want democracy. saddam threated us with nukes.
Kratos016 3 years ago
some people are ignorant..like the guy below puuting the US down like that shame on you if you are american or live in america.

What is your country doing about all the depleted uranium rounds lying around Iraq poisoning water etc?

Do Americans realise how much people of the world are fed up with their self deluded, self indulgent "oh we are attacked by so many" we are the police of the world , fucking hoorah BS? Fuck, you kill so many people and always find a way to justify it. The highway of death in the 1st gulf war killed many thousand more people than 911 but where are the politicians and commanders standing trial for that?!
Riyun72 4 years ago
Its not our fault that the Al Qaeda ppl bomb us, if we dont declared war, they will kill other ppl... so its not BS... btw fuck off dont diss americans >.o
shuttup123 4 years ago
You think its as simply US being attacked for no reason? My god!! You make no connection between US foreign policy and actions taken by your government and Military and attacks on your country. This is not Pearl Habour any more, your country invades and bullies alot of other nations. Best you realise that soon.

Basic stuff people Sadam was in power as long as the powers that be wanted him there. All this could have been avoided.Have a dig around and look beyond TV, newspapers and the like. All the info is there you just have to look for it.Who's working with whom etc, etc, and the pricks are laughing at us and making a lot of money.
