There may be other phony (read: non-GL) groups who go above that; but that's moot with respect to regular Masonry.

The Rite of Memphis and Misraim goes a bit above the 90th Degree, but M&M isn't a Masonic organization -- it's a spin-off that American Masonry condemned over a hundred years ago. It's not like the York and Scottish Rites, which fit in the UGLE framework and are accepted by the Grand Lodges of each US state. It's an organization we GL Masons are prohibited from joining.

It's important to keep in mind, though, that Freemasonry does not go above the Third Degree. An independent organization governed by the Grand Lodge called the Scottish Rite does, as does another such organization called the York Rite; neither of which exercises any authority over Freemasonry proper (i.e., the Grand Lodges and the Blue Lodges). That these "higher" degree organizations "control" anything but themselves is a myth.

The Rite of Memphis and Misraim goes a bit above the 90th Degree, but M&M isn't a Masonic organization -- it's a spin-off that American Masonry condemned over a hundred years ago. It's not like the York and Scottish Rites, which fit in the UGLE framework and are accepted by the Grand Lodges of each US state. It's an organization we GL Masons are prohibited from joining.

Anyone with enough intelligence can just research this information on their own either at a library or through credible sources online. If you do you will find as I did after watching this video, that there are only 3 degrees in Freemasonry. There are degrees in the other bodies within freemasonry, but they only go to 33 degrees.
