First is not a pastor, is a priest. And people were worshipping Jesus, as he is God, of course you didnt understand, good thing you went to the muslims
so how can a man be God? does God need to eat, sleep, etc? how can God take on these human qualities when he is the Sustainer.. he doesn't need to be sustained by oxygen, food, etc.
Just to add in your knowledge. The priest is for catholic and pastor is for protestant. In a protestant church, you will obviously find pastor and not a priest.

you have to be patient. it's hard for non muslim peruvians to understand and it takes a while. you could have always explain the scientifical part. I am peruvian and I'm a muslum and trust me, there's so much pressure in Peru, they always want you to be a christian and if you're not, people can discriminate you that's why perhaps i can relate to her a little bit
